purchased this insert for a mermaid tail I got for my granddaughter for her birthday. This - along with the tail - were declared to be her favorite gift of all!

My Little Mermaid
Very cute product. This is the second mermaid suit for my granddaughter. The suit is not tight but not to loose either and seems to be good qualtiy for a swim costume. My granddaughter wears a size 5 dress. I ordered size 5-6. She insists on wearing the tail in the water where she becomes a real mermaid. She loves this costume.

We did not receive the style we ordered. The ones we received were still cute, and our girls loved them. One tail fell apart at the seams the first day of wear. Luckily, we know a seamstress who fixed it in 5 minutes. It ended up fine for us, but we would have loved to have the actual items we ordered and for them to be more durable.

Set has two-piece modest swimsuit under scales
It's very nice but would purchase the FIN to accompany inside.The two piece swimsuit worn underneath has nice modest coverage for little girls.

The fin fits our 10 year old daughters mermaid tail pretty good. Its not an exact fit but is good enough to swim and have fun.
