Unless you have a strange diet, you don't need L-Phenylalanine supplementation -- it's readily available in food. D-Phenylalanine is where the magic MIGHT be -- this compound is synthesized in a lab and is quite rare in nature. My investigations show that an individual's response depends highly on their specific neurotransmitter biochemistry. If it works FOR YOU, it will potentiate both natural and Rx opioid meds (and recreational opiates -- but don't go there). It's cheap enough to try. For the natural response, try 2 capsules and see if you feel better. For Rx opioids, try it 30 minutes before your upcoming dose, and see if it stretches the efficacy by roughly an hour. If so, the benefits are worth it -- less Rx means fewer side effects.(Back to the first comment -- you can buy just the D-Phenyalanine on Amazon.)

No. Low dose naltrexone is naltrexone(comes in 50mg dose, used for alcohol and opiate addiction) at doses of 4mg and lower (used for a multitude of auto immune and other conditions...look it up...it's a wonderful thing!).

"Free-form" means that it's in freebase form instead of ionic salt form. A lot of medications, for instance, come in the form of a salt (e.g., lithium carbonate, lithium orotate, et al.), which acts as a more stable carrier for the active component and also generally makes it more water-soluble. Freebase compounds such as this product are more "pure", in the sense that it has no carrier — it simply stands as-is, on its own.
