This book provides many nuggets of wisdom regarding healing and scriptures that back them all up. I recommend you read it whenever you are struggling with sickness. This books remind us that all we need is to hunger and thirst for righteousness through reading the word, and to put a demand on the healing anointing Christ had and died to give us. I ordered this book of prayers and three others as well. They are all GREAT prayer tools! They help when you need help. They are powerful prayer tools when you feel the need to cry out to God but run out of words to say or can't remember that certain verse while praying. So, when you want to stay in your prayer closet and talk to God a while longer, but the enemy is temping you to give up because you don't know what to say, remember this... Romans 8:26 - 28 says... "Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for us to utter." But He searches the heart and knows the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose. So just know that God understands; therefore, provides help where and when it is needed. I strongly recommend these books.

This is a set of four CDs. I've listened to the first one, and it sounds like the author is solid in his teaching. He includes LOTS of Bible verses, which is good. He also includes sample prayers for healing that include breaking generational curses, etc. This is great, I think, because you can pause the cd and repeat the prayers and/or write them in a notebook for handy reference. Thank God, I'm in excellent health; however, I do pray for others who are not. This teaching will help me to pinpoint issues and get results. Healing is definitely right! After listening to the first cd, I don't anticipate anything "off" or unscriptural from this teaching. If, however, that happens, I'll just take the meat and spit out the bones. There's certainly a lot of meat here! BOTTOM LINE: Buy it!

So far I bought four copies of this book, and tend to give it to those who need it most (those who are desiring healing). Like all of John Eckharts books, it too is a fantastic book, comes highly recommended, and you can't beat the price of less than $10.

As I really liked "Prayers that rout demons", I also ordered this book by John Eckhart. I like the way he explains things and the prayers he writes are designed to get results as he puts it. As you read and pray these prayers, things become more clear in your mind and you learn to pray more effectively. Personally, I would never have thought of praying a lot of the prayers he has written, but I learn as I go along. Most of the prayers have a scriptural reference and I like that, too, as you can check in the holy bible whether or not it is true what he writes. Having the choice which book by John Eckhardt to order first, I would recommend "Prayers that rout demons" because that is the book I like the best.

I really like this book and easy to read scriptures.

John Eckhardt has written freshly, here, but although much of what he writes was new to me, I believe that it proved to be Biblical - often cross-referencing to at least two or three Bible situations I could think of, even if not all of those were necessarily referred to by him.

This book has blessed me which I will recommend that every minister and believer read this book. It will transform your life.
