UPDATE: After continuing to use this, I'm raising my review to 5 stars. I solved the problem with tea leaves getting into my cup by pouring more slowly. since the teapot is conical and wider towards the base, this leaves the leaves behind. I also found I could clear the infuser slots with a very small thin bladed knife. So now I find it to be pretty much perfect. Also, I've accidently banged the lid and the infuser against hard surfaces a couple of times, and was surprised that it did zero damage. I still assume it's fairly delicate, being thin glass, but it has already proven itself sturdier than I expected.I like this teapot a great deal and I use it pretty much daily. I have a glass teapot with a metal infuser, and I found the metal infuser gets permanently stained, so I was pleased when I found one with a glass infuser and lid. It does clean more easily than the metal one, although the slits in the infuser sometimes keep some traces of tea on them. I have to admit that I'm being very picky when I make that particular complaint. My other small complaint is that the slits in the glass infuser are slightly larger than the holes in a metal infuser, so more pieces of tea leaves make it through and wind up in my tea cup. Again, I'm being kind of picky about it. Overall it is an excellent product and value and I definitely recommend it.

I really love this water kettle . It is very sturdy and easy to clean. You can pour a bit of white vinegar into the kettle, and let it stays for a few minutes, then use a spongy wash it out. I love the handle and everything about this kettle. I will continue to purchase it when this one is worn out.

I never like metal mesh strainer and want a all glass or ceramic tea pot for a long time. After saw only two left, I quickly jump on the order. It is very thin glass and cute. I was wondering how the tea flavor can get through the seemed full glass. It did go through cut look like on the strainer. Very happy with the purchase.
