It was time to replace it, so I purchased this vacuum. Just a later version of the same. Regrettably there are components of it that same flimsy and cheap. Specifically the way the handle is secured to the body of the vacuum. It’s a cheap twist plastic knob that only does an OK job keeping the handle locked in. I hope that this last as long as my first one. I am skeptical, but I’m hoping to be pleasantly surprised. When I flip the switch to “on “, it seems to takes a few seconds to power up. This just may be the way it is designed, but it’s going to take some getting used to. It seems pretty finicky to about going over rugs and sometimes just stops like it can’t power through the rug.
