Numberella Deluxe Level 3 for Kids Ages 11–14 & KS3 Years 7–9+ | Algebra & Geometry Turbo for Gifted Kids – Impossible to Conquering Equations! | Data-Proven STEM | 2-5 Players : desertcart.co.uk: Toys & Games Review: A very fun family maths game - A quote from my 8 year old son “I like this game because it helps you with your maths. There are also ‘ant’ coins to earn which is a great incentive to play the game well. I like the ‘fortune’ cards because you can trade with the other players which involves them even when it’s not their turn.” A fantastic game to help everyone in the family (including the adults 😆) improve their maths skills!! Would highly recommend 🙌 Review: A really great game - Our 6yo girl LOVES this game. We've bought other games and toys to help with counting and maths etc. but this is the one she turns to. It fits neatly with the fact she's getting more and more into board games and card games etc. anyway at this age. You can use it as simple flash-cards maths revision as per the curriculum she receives at school. But it really comes into its own if you take the time to learn how to play the 'Cup' game. (As well as the rule book, we found the Numberella videos online helpful to learn the rules.) Once you get the hang of the rules, it plays like a board game which our daughter is really into at the moment. It’s got lots of fun elements which make it easy to forget you're learning maths. Things like the jeopardy of stealing each other’s coins, hijacking each other’s turns or commiserating when someone rolls only a 1 on the cash multiplier. :) It's a really well-designed game because, although maths knowledge is central to it, often the easy questions carry the biggest cash rewards, so less confident kids can do well. And it means that I and her older cousins etc. can play it with her without having to to pretend to lose, because that leveller is built into the game anyway. It's a subtle but really important feature because she is old enough now to notice when we let her win. So it makes her much more eager to play it! I’ve loved playing this with my daughter. It’s really helped with her confidence and ability in maths ... the focus is as much on fun as it is on learning maths. Excellent product that we're already getting a lot of value from. Strongly recommend!

Great way to engage kids with maths
I bought this game having heard about it from a teacher friend who said it was a great way to engage kids with maths. As a parent I’ve always struggled to find a way of holding my kids interest in practicing arithmetic – how many times can you recite times tables before it gets boring – but this game does exactly that. It’s a money based game, which kids love, so every single turn involves adding and subtracting, doing change, and so on, as well as revising topics from the (KS1,2 or 3) syllabus. The game play elements are really fun – the kids love using The Thief to steal each other’s money and Jin Genie to get free money from the bank – so it really feels like you’re just having fun – but in fact, you’re doing a maths work out. It’s a really great product, and well worth the investment.

A brilliant way to practice maths at home - a perfect alternative to dull SATS paper practice.
I bought Numberella as an alternative to doing the SATS papers that were sent home with my 7 year daughter. It's been brilliant, and 6 months on we still play it regularly. We both enjoy playing it, the questions are interesting, fun and varied and there are learning opportunities throughout. Alex, the designer has been super too, and when I had a simple question about how tackle a subject my daughter was struggling with he got back to me with a very detailed and helpful response. When you compare the price with just a single session with a private tutor, the return on investment makes immediate sense. Very much looking forward to Level 2 :)

Excellent gift for kids!
Really fantastic gift, particularly as a family with a range of neurodiversity characteristics - bought this for the next generation of kids as a fun way to learn and discover the joy of numbers; highly recommended!

Fantastic Learning Tool
I bought this game as a present for two of my cousins and had the chance to play it with them at the weekend. They had already been getting used to the game having had it for a week and were able to explain to me how to play. The beauty of it seems to lie in the fact that they aren't particularly aware of the fact that they are learning while playing and so look at it as fun rather than a chore to be endured. As a means of getting children interested and interacting with maths i would wholeheartedly recommend!

Best educational game anyone can hope to find.
Fantastic game for the kids to learn their maths in a very fun and creative way.

As a retired teacher who tutors young children, I absolutely endorse the Numberella math game. It helps kids learn - and enjoy - math in a fun setting. I love seeing their faces light up when the "get it". Numberella helps the be comfortable with math "problems" and this will translate to better math scores as they go through school. For the "teacher": you need to set up the game and explain the rules to the children and once they start playing...it's just plain fun. One huge benefit - it keeps them off electronic devices and sharing face-to-face experience with other children.

We bought Numberella to help make maths more fun for our little boy and it has really delivered. Spend a bit of time getting up to speed on the rules and it is a really fun game that mixes high turnover of math with some great board game features like making someone miss their turn or stealing an opponents cash. The Harry Hijack card is great as well, as it allows adults to explain concepts to kids, but leaving the kids with the chance of still winning cash. It means they listen! So overall a great game and a great math product.

I bought all 3 levels and am delighted with them. It takes a while to get the hang of the game but when you do it's great fun to play and you can see the benefit the kids derive from it quite quickly. We also found that you don't all have to have the same ability to enjoy the same game as the questions appear to be quite varied. All in all, a super buy.

Since kindergarten our (now 3rd grade) daughter consistently found math challenging. Over time this impacted her self-confidence - she started to call math 'boring' and to believe she was no good at the subject. We bought Numberella because we wanted to bring the fun back into math, to find a way to practice with her that would be enjoyable (for us as well as her) and would help build back her confidence in the subject. The tactic worked! She loves the variety in the game, loves the ability to collect ant coins, and is clearly enjoying her new-found ability in math. "It was super fun!" she told us after a recent game. We're now planning to start after-school Numberella games with her friends, to help her friends make a similar shift. A brilliant product!
