GalcoSummer Comfort Inside Pant Holster for S&W J Frame 640 Cent 2 1/8-Inch .357

Feels great with my S&W 60... belt loops very sturdy.

This holster is made right here in the USA...so right off the bat is worth it for me.Good material and workmanship, good retention on my S&W 442 as well as my Charter Arms Undercover. I like the fact that it has the two belt loops instead of the metal spring clips, which in my opinion, are almost always too stiff. Ride height of the gun is good, although in my humble opinion it could be a little higher. After presentation, the gun is easy to reholster with the reinforced opening.My only real gripe with this holster is that in exchange for the top quality leather and reinforced opening, you trade concealability. Its a very beefy holster, this creates issues with printing when you wear just a t-shirt, however, the J frame revolvers are no where near as slim as say, a Ruger LCP. By carrying a revolver, you inherently sacrifice concealability anyways, but you do get 5 rounds of 38 special +P goodness. Not to knock 380's...I wouldn't want to be shot by either of the two.Overall, i'd recommend this holster, it seems like it will outlast me.

I could tell it was a great quality holster but it seemed a little too thick. I'll be completely honest.... I"m a slim guy and understand the fact that I don't have much padding on my hips, doesn't help the situation. With that said, it still doesn't change the fact that it's a fairly thick holster and it really adds girth to your waistband and therefore stick out more and isn't as comfortable. In my "opinion", I think revolvers are harder to carry period than semi-auto's unless you pocket carry. I got a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster and I'm much happier carrying this way! Comfortable to wear and fits the firearm perfectly. I carry a S&W 640 pro series in mine and it fits like a glove. The snap loops make it easy to put on and take off. A little on the bulky side but still conceals well.

Like most Galco products the workmanship and material is very good quality. But note, though the image on the Amazon post indicates a no cant carry, the hostler arrived with a definite forward cant. The cant cannot be adjusted. Nice holster though. Wish I could use it.

for an IWB holster, this thing is pretty comfy. I don't concealed carry very often, but when I do it is always with my S&W J frame 442 .38 revolver.

I will echo what B. Miller said.It's a VERY well made holster, but also quite thick. As a fairly trim guy, it would create way too much of a bulge in my pants where I don't want it.

Another excellent Galco product. Fits the gun just like it should. The 640 stays secured, but can be drawn with little effort.
