U.S. Army Improvised Munitions Handbook (US Army Survival)

Awesome book with tons of great info!

This book contains information that is easily available on the internet, and knowing how to do things isn’t illegal. It's a great book for people who just want to know how explosives work. This is heavily dated information, and trying to use any of these methods to hurt anyone but yourself would require purchases that would get someone flagged immediately.

This book isn't too bad. I just wish the context was a bit more descriptive. If you are in a bind, in a pinch, or a last-minute situation, this book will help out with basic ordinance. The incendiary section is the most applicable for home use. Everything else is military-based. Meaning that, most of the explosives need a blasting cap. That is something that you can't find in a basic hardware store or a hobby shop. Even though it does show how to make a blasting cap. This is a cool manual but keep this away from children. You'd be surprised how easy it is to make a fire bomb that explodes on contact.

Must have knowledge

It is exactly as advertised. It is an in depth operator manual of improvised munitions. Very comprehensive, explanatory, and not for the immature. Keep away from children and teens and the mentally unstable. Good info to know in a pinch, but absolutely deadly in the wrong hands. Be careful with this information.

In this case you can judge a book by its cover, just exactly what it says it is, and there is some good information about improvised munitions and the like for INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY..If you chose to concoct one of these "recipes" and you are not a very careful individual I would suspect your new nickname might be nubby or old one eye. After a read through I found that the most basic information in this book can be found online for free but I did find some things I would never have went looking for, very neat read.

Beware any book of this type, that has a typo in the introduction. " These items were found to be effective in most environments; however, samples should be made and tested remotely prior to actual USE OF ASSURE proper performance."... Actual use to assure, just wow. Page 6

I'm a writer who is always looking for ways to add verisimilitude to my action novels. This book helped me make some ambush scenes more real.

Neat addition to collection. Very much a product of it's time and origins, however. But clever in the extreme, kind of a remnant of an age where people were much more comfortable with chemistry than they are now.

Très bon manuel technique, a ne pas mettre dans de mauvaise mains mais très intéressant à lire pour sa cul personnel. Je recommande ce manuel très instructifs.
