Pencil by FiftyThree replacement tip and eraser(53T003)

The sad fact with many Styluses is the tips wear out and until I can upgrade to an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, the 53 Pencil is the only stylus I have had success with on the iPad Air 2. These tips are very high quality and withstand months of use for notes and drawing.

I was given the pencil caps as a gift but the pencil comes with a spare and the product is so good, I am still using the original one on my pencil after daily use. I do have the soft leather case for the pencil, which I am sure has helped keep the pencil and it's parts in good shape, regardless of the products great quality. I use the pencil daily for work mistly documents and such and also recreationally for art designs.

These work fine but they are expensive and seem to wear pretty quickly. I find myself going very lightly on the force applied b/c I've had several burn through with my kids using them on their IPADs. I also had a spare one that came with my pen go bad and these worked as a replacement b/c the other kept causing problems with the connection.

For some reason the rubber tips on my 53 Pencil get sticky and start tearing. I keep my screen clean so I don't think it's from dirt or gunk. I've had to replace three in the last year. Maybe that's a full MTBF expectancy. With all the use its not unexpected to fail over time. These are nice and connect to my iPad and iPhone 7s. Keep them on hand.

I love it when the tips are fresh but as I am an artist and use it frequently and require a sensitive stylus. The design of the tips do not match the quality responsiveness that you receive up front nor the $50 price tag. If the design of the tips doesn't improve or the price of replacing them doesn't go down significantly, I'll be going back to the friendly Swede. It is not quite as responsive but the expense and durability in relation to the price puts the 53 to shame. I'd give it 5 stars up front but only for the first day of use. Come On folks at 53 work on this issue. We all shucked some precious cash for the hype and up front utility... please listen to your users. I'd gladly up my review from 3 to 5 if the durability or price of replacement tips decreased significantly. Otherwise I'm taking my business back to the Swede.

The tips work fine! I was surprised that I had to replace them so quickly after I bought the "pencil", until I realized that a child had applied extreme pressure to the original tip causing it to wear through. If one is gentle in using these pencils, I think the tips will last a reasonably long time. I do wish they were thicker rubber, though, so they would be more durable.

While I wish the tips were a little more durable (I begin to feel the wear after a couple of weeks and replace them after a month), at $4 each it's not too bad. I enjoy using the Pencil enough that it's worth it to me over a cheaper stylus with simpler tips.

Now that 53 has changed owners, the Paper app no longer supports this Pencil tool. So why would these replacement parts be sold for ¥4000? I'd definitely buy them if they were cheaper. Clearance sale coming soon?

It is nibs and eraser tip for a 53 pencil. They seem genuine and work fine.

Die ursprüngliche Spitzen für den Stift waren bei mir leider relativ schnell durchgearbeitet, nachdem die Kinder den Stift in der Hand hatten. Offensichtlich halten die Gummispitzen nicht viel Druck aus. Die Ersatzteile sind jedoch sehr schnell geliefert worden, die Kinder bekommen den Stift jetzt nicht mehr, und alles passt.
