Miracle II Moisturizing Soap - 1 Gallon (128 oz)

*drinks shotglass of Miracle II* Amen! Ok, I haven't really drank this soap, although I have heard that some people drink the neutralizer which this is based on. It is sort of unclear what exactly is in this soap. The green color is very strange and it's claimed to be from seaweed although this is not an ingredient. I can confirm from personal experience that this does have antimicrobial effects, most likely due to some form oxygenation, which is what the maker implies, along with a bunch of other esoteric stuff. However how exactly this works and the exact ingredients are not revealed as I guess it's a trade secret. Despite this it seems to have very basic and natural ingredients. It does not sting on delicate areas and I have used it to bathe my pets with no ill effects, to the contrary they had better skin and fur after. Even if you're not strictly looking for a soap if you need the antimicrobial effects this offers other great benefits. It is incredibly moisturizing. In the past I had used in shower moisturizers after applying soap but I couldn't find any natural versions of that which were cost effective. It also works unbeilvably well as a cleaner. In this case you will probably want to buy the normal non foaming version but the foam is minimal anyway. You can buy this soap by the gallon to replace everything. Yeah, people say that about Dr. Bronners, but that stuff is harsh! It stings if you get it your eyes and it strips the moisture from your skin! Plus, go ahead and test to see if Dr Bronners or your dish soap can do this. Eat some pasta with marinara and leave the red sauce and bits of the pasta on the plate to dry up. With normal dish soap you would have to scrub to get this off and soak it. I found out that just by putting pure Miracle II on a paper towel allowed me to wipe the plate clean. With Dish Soap or Dr Bronners you would just have some of the dried up stuff broken off and moving around but this actually breaks it down enough that it can all be wiped off without any extra scrubbing or elbow grease. I have been able to clean off surfaces in gross areas like near my litter box or trash can in ways that other soaps, de greasers, and products could not. I don't know if it is just the antimicrobial action but it seems to break oily things down as well and act as a degreaser. I used this once as a laundry soap and now I'm hooked - it removed grease and odors from things that I had pretty much given up on. I got this as a gift for my friend and told her to try cleaning the bathroom with it. She thought it was a joke but was actually really surprised. Would love to see someone with more equipment do comprehensive testing on the scope of this stuff as to its antimicrobial action and breaking down oils. It works so well you get kind of scared that it may have some secret toxic ingredient in it but I really don't think so.

This leading brand of Miracle II Soap has been 'my fave' for around twenty years, maybe more. With it, 'tho fine just 'as is'... you can (as I always do!) add your best essential oils to it for the varying soaps like shampoo, body wash, even dish cleaning. It is GRAND. BTW, this is (ahem) a God-Guided company. Not to say 'unaware', yet reasonfully 'of the best' there is 'to own'. Just HAVE FUN making your own soaps now~!!!!!!!! And by the way, in one 22oz bottle, I normally add roughly 6-7 drops Lemon essential oil, 3-4 drops Orange, 5-6 drops Tea Tree Oil, 4 drops Cypress, Frankincense, even 2-3 drops "Joy" (of theYoung Living Essential Oil Company)~!

We love Miracle II soap. It works and your skin feels soft after you use it.

The bottle leaked because the cap came loose in transit. In the past, they used to put a strong tape over the cap. But now they only put plastic wrap stuff completely covering the bottle, but the plastic broke by the cap and the cap was loose. I did not lose very much out of it. It was minimal, thank goodness. As for the product, I have been ordering this since 2011 when I used to order from the distributor. Now they sell it thru Amazon, which is still convenient. I will continue ordering this as long as I live. It is non-toxic, it can detox the skin, among lots of other uses. I can wash my hair with it as well. It's the best soap ever! I also use Miracle II's regular soap and nuetralizer gel. Great stuff!!! Buying the soap in the gallon size is cost effective. I love the barely there scent, since I'm allergic to scents. I am not allergic to this soap. This is the moisturizing soap that I ordered. It makes my skin soft. I love it! It's very effective! I have the old list from this company with all the things that these products can be used for. I even washed my dogs with the regular soap.

Well other people have said a lot so I'll just tell the highlights. I have started using it as shampoo, just a bit I spray in my hair and I add a small amount of a baby shampoo that I like that is moisturizing called Pipette (it has squalene). I have to say since I've added Miracle ii soap my hair has become thicker and more manageable. Does not frizz out. (I also spray with neutralizer when it is a bad hair day weatherwise and it calms right down) My face is soft and clean and moisturized and radiant I am a senior. The other thing is when I consistently use it in the shower, my extremely calloused heels are no longer calloused! I don't have to do anything special. They were just softened naturally. so no matter if I like soaps and scents, I always use Miracle ii and add the other if I want. It keeps the shower clean. It takes the spots out of clothes. I just love this stuff. I ought to try it for laundry but I thought that would be too pricey. I could tell you about neutralizer too but will save that for its own review.

Best soap hands down! I have been using this soap for years on my entire body and hair. Thanks for continuing to manufacture this great product.

This review is after my first use of the soap. Overall, I like it and my skin does feel good after using it. The one major thing I don't like about it is that it is thin and watery. The soap should be thicker like a body wash so it doesn't run off the loofa or washcloth, or whatever you're using when you go to set the bottle back down.
