Love this stuff. It sort of has that smoky chipotle taste without the sweetness and about the same heat but maybe a little less. While its good i prefer the yellow one aji amillrio which is a total different taste profile with it being way hotter and having a fresh garden pepper taste

Mild sauce with an wonderful fresh pepper taste!!!
Who knew Peru made some of the best pepper sauce!!!! This sauce is epic!!! It is not hot so anyone can enjoy it. It has a great flavor with not too much sauce and for those of you who like a pure fresh pepper taste, this sauce has it!!!! I just tried it yesterday with my pizza and was shocked it was so good!!! If you know a dish that can use a little pepper spice put on it this sauce would be perfect.

Seal Issues
Item arrived just as most others have reported. The seal is weak and leaks inside the packaging. The manufacturer should improve the container or seal as many have reported the same issue. This is an essential ingredient in Peruvian cooking.

Great flavor!
It’s so hard to find authentic aji panca! So glad I found it on Amazon! Makes all the difference in cooking Peruvian foods. It’s not super spicy but adds all the flavor! Will keep buying here.

Perfect for a pure flavour boost, not a bunch of salt or grease
I love this stuff! I would give it around a 2.25 on my personal "heat scale" (1 being a grocery store bell pepper and 10 being akin to a Carolina Reaper). I like that it's a paste, not a liquid, and that it's not at all oily, salty, or with a strong aroma of vinegar. I typically use about a teaspoon in a four-serving soup recipe for an added kick of flavour without salt or fat - nice for folks on special diets! I used a bit in a pasta sauce I made for my sister-in-law - you know the type of person - she just LOOKS at a picture of a hot pepper and instantly gets digestive problems! She had no complaints at all about heat level and wanted to know my secret! 10/10 - Will purchase again and again!
