I use this as a base before applying the Black mercury paint to touch up my lower unit , works good for me

I sanded smooth first, primed twice, then used the mercury paint twice, and then clear coated twice. I have run the boat fast 60 plus, been in the Arkansas River current on three occasions and all is good.
