I'm not really a woodworker so I may be too generous with five stars. I just need a chisel set for a few projects around the house here and there. These worked for my purpose and are a little nicer than the crap I could get at the hardware stores near me. Up front that perhaps a woodworker guru might not be as impressed but for me, these did the job well, continue to do so and seem to be a higher quality than the usual options.

I've been dabbling in wood carving and wanted a nice set of chisels that wouldn't break the bank. I came across these and they do the trick. They are sharp, well made and come in a nice wooden box. The various sizes are great for any project and the fact that I can use a mallet on them is a bonus. They are comfortable to hold and fit nicely in my palm. I think they are a great value

A nice set, sharp edges, great storage, will last a long time. You don't need expensive to be good.

Decent price. Like the length. Spent several hours getting these sharp.

The chisels in this set are heavy duty! I like the wood handles, it makes them look old. They'll fit right in with all my antique woodworking tools. They'd be a great gift for someone in woodworking that appreciates fine well made tools

Quality product for the price!

Surprisingly good quality for a budget chisel set. The box is solid, the handles and the actual chisels remind me of the old Spanish chisels from the defunct Mifer company. These EZARC chisels take an edge quickly with a 1000 grit diamond metal stone and polish up to a nice mirror shine with a 3000 grit diamond metal stone - see the photo. I’ve used these chisels on some funky walnut burl and purpleheart - both hard and tough on chisels. They worked fine. They sailed through pine on a doorframe is was working on. I touched up the blades after use. Diamond stones like Atoma or Ultra Sharp are ideal for chisel sharpening because you can’t dig or gouge diamond stones - a 1000/3000 is perfect for chisels but they are pricey. You CAN easily gouge a ceramic water stone or a soft King water stone with a chisel blade. Then you have to flatten and lap the gouged water stone with a 300 grit stone. I discovered that data the hard way. For general shop or job site use on a budget, this is a solid set of chisels. Hope that helps!

These came reasonably sharp and worked well for installing strike plates and door handles for a dozen doors. If you're a full- time woodworker or want the best tools you'll want to look elsewhere, but for occasional DIY and woodworking usage these work well. They seem to hold an edge as well as the Stanley chisels they replaced, and I appreciate having a storage case instead of using a wall rack since I don't use wood chisels very often.

Good product for the price, chisels don't come as sharp as I'd like and the backs are not completely flat. But a little time flattening and sharpening and they look great and trim hair nicely. I haven't used them for woodworking yet but they seem well built and worth more then what I paid for them. Great product, wouldn't hesitate to buy these for a friend or as a gift for someone.

Pretty good for the price. After flattening the backs and sharpening they perform well, but a fair amount of work to get them there. They hold their edge quite well for chisels in this price range. If your looking for a decent set of chisels for occasional use, these fit the bill. 3 stars for quality out of the box. 4 for value and performance after you put the work in.
