The light doesn't lights up in the middle of the night, because I couldn't see the buttons only some of them does

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The instructions include a list of codes for all devices. My device had 7 codes to try. It is important to know that you have to check all the buttons after entering the code to make sure it works. After entering the first code, the volume button worked but none of the others. It wasn't until I tried the fourth code that all the buttons worked. The whole process took me 5 minutes. For customers that need help, they provide a toll free number for assistance.

My old sound bar is tough to find remoate. This brand has held up for years, just finally wore out the mute button. So cheap, not worth any effort to try and repair the button. Love the normal batteries size, not a special battery.

I have entered all Sony codes and have used the auto code search on the remote. No code will turn the Sony Bravia TV on/off.The remote user guide instructions says " after entering the code...if the power red light stays on.....you have entered an invalid code". I enter the code and the red light turns off....so I know the code is accepted. Yet it will not operate my TV. Direct Distributor seller feedback will not answer my question " what version of the Blackweb remote will work with my Sony Bravia TV".The Sony TV customer support can't help me except for me to buy a Sony remote RMF TX200U for $42. I have also unplugged the power from the TV outlet. Waited 2 minutes. Plugged power back in.....still not working. I'm returning this remote.

The original remote I bought lasted about 10 years, this is why I am buying another, they are very good remotes.

We had this remote for many years prior to August 2021 when a battery exploded in it. I purchased another and it has been fine for the last couple of months. Today however (2.5 months after purchasing) it stopped working. When I opened the battery compartment I noticed another battery had exploded in it. I'm not sure if it's the remote that's causing the battery to explode. The batteries are not cheap (name brand bought at Sam's club) and no problems with any other remotes.
