Best for knee high compression socks
I bought another one cheaper that said it worked with compression socks but it did not. Should have spent the couple extra dollars to begin with and get this one. This works just fine on my knee high compression socks and has a little flexibility when removing them. Would recommend this for help in removing the socks. It definitely works.

Not half bad when used wisely!
I am editing my original review. When removing your socks, do NOT pull and bunch compression socks down to ankle and then attempt to remove them. Instead, grab the top of the sock and pull down over the leg...still holding the sock top, pull over the heel of your foot and if possible...continue pulling off of the foot, which will end up with your sock completely inside out. If you can't pull the sock off once the sock top has cleared the foot's heel...then take the sock remover and lift the sock over the heel and pull off. Much easier to remove the sock when it is merely doubled over as opposed to completely bunched at the ankle.

Not very helpful
While I manage to put on compression socks with the help of a Sock Aid, getting them off is quite a problem as I have limited reach and bending ability due to severe arthritis. I had been using a thick 30" vinyl shoe horn to push the socks down the leg and under the heel but the pressure on my legs from the shoehorn wedged between the compression sock and skin was painful. The RMS Compression Sock Aid is only 17" long but is much thinner and more flexible than the shoehorn and is, therefore, not painful on my legs. That said, it is just not possible to reach far down enough with this device to be able to get the compression socks past my ankles and under the heel so the thicker shoehorn still has to be employed to remove the socks those last few inches. If you do not have reach/flexibility issues, this RMS Compression Sock Aid will no doubt do the trick for you.

This is a great little tool.
This tool really works. I recently had hip surgery and I was having tremendous difficulty putting on my own socks. I was unable to bend my hip or body more than 90 degrees so I searched online and found this tool. Honestly, it could be made a little longer but for the price it's a nice tool to have if you need something like this to be more independent with your daily activities.

Barely helped
Caveat emptor: first of all this device has a sticker on one side that says slide this side against leg peel off before use. You can see the sticker in my attached photographs, and the fact in a couple of the photographs where I tried on two different corners to peel off the sticker and it does not come up easily, which tells me it's going to leave behind sticky nasty residue. So that bites. Shame on the manufacturer. I had hip replacement surgery and have to wear Ted hose for 30 days. But I'm not allowed to bend forward, so getting them off has been a real pain. I purchased this because I was told it would help. It helped me get the sock down to my ankle, and that was it. I live alone. I was afraid I was going to have to call 911, LITERALLY, to get the sock off of my ankle. I was finally able to get the sock off with the addition of a long handled shoehorn down inside the sock on the other side of my leg. It was painful. And I'm not sure if it was worth the approximately $20 before tax that I paid for this device. So buyer beware. This is not the magic wand that you are hoping for.

ยกExcelente compra! ๐๐๐

Work great
Just the thing to take the stress out of getting compression stockings off.

Better than a doff-&-donner (rubber doughnut) which costs significantly more
works great at assisting the removal of compression socks The hook easily slips behind the sock to facilitate pushing the sock down. The hook then assists in pushing the sock off the heal
