Jet Diving Fin with Spring Heel Strap

I recently got the ScubaPro JetFins in size XL, and I love them! I've been diving for over ten years, and these fins are some of the best I've used. I wouldn’t even give them a star but it won’t let you submit it without one. I usually wear a medium/ large fin I ordered three large and it was too small! I returned those and ordered the X-Large and they are too cramped too. I got called away on a family emergency and now I’m 1 day past being able to exchange them for the xxlarge. I called scuba pro and they won’t do anything to help me because I bought them from Amazon who sells there products. I’d highly recommend not ordering from either.

I make over 100 dives a year around the world and have used many different fins (Scuba Pro Seawings, varieties of Mares, and Cressi Reactions), and the Jet Fins are my favorite; I won’t wear anything else now! The Jet Fins are heavy, so they take some “breaking in” at first, but once you get use to them they are perfectly maneuverable in tight spots and for maintaining position while taking photographs, AND they “cut” against current like a knife through soft butter (well, maybe not that smoothly, but close :)).

So, I should start by saying I'm a commercial diver, and all my equipment is "hard use" gear. I've been a loyal Scubapro Jet Fin diver for over 25 years. But something has changed in either the quality or materials since moving production to Taiwan. I bought a new set of the cool army greens to replace my older blacks. The new color options are nice, but the fin split on the edge just forward of the foot pocket, behind the vent. Disappointing, especially since they had less than 100 dives on them, Reading others comments on line, it sounded like MAYBE the problem was in the colored fins only, so I went and bought another pair of black ones. But they did the same thing, in the same spot, in roughly the same amount of time. So after begrudgingly retiring those fins, I have switched to the Apeks RK HD, which are (so far) holding up as good as my older Jet FIns used to do. Please note, while I am disappointed in the fin and only give it 3 stars, if you are just a recreational diver and do normal to moderate use, I think they will hold up just fine for you. But if you're looking for the indestructible, bullet-proof Jet Fins of old, you'll be just as disappointed as me...

Habe meine Flossen heute bekommen. Allerdings fällt diese Flosse recht klein aus. Man sollte besser eine Nummer größer nehmen.

The item was perfect it just didn't fit the size. U need always to get bigger size than shown on the table.
