* Update * - I now orally take 2 drops daily, mixed in 4oz reverse osmosis water. It has given me so much energy, I really feel like a new person. I know some people take more then this but the amount I take, is considered very high. The recommended daily amount is 150 micrograms (mcg). That minimal amount is the amount, to basically not develop a goiter. If you do not take large amounts, I would suggest you take about 400mcg at least. If you decide to take around 400mcg, you can buy capsules. Some people cannot take large amounts of iodine due to Thyroid issues. When you take iodine, make sure you have selenium in your diet such as: Beef,Eggs,Milk and if you stay away from animal products, Brazil Nuts. I personally eat 2 Brazil nuts daily and eat 4 eggs. Make sure to research before you take Lugol's Iodine orally! Iodine kills parasites as well, another positive effect to taking iodine orally. Once again, please research before taking orally, it is YOUR BODY.Great product/quality.This worked perfectly to test if I was iodine deficienct at home. If you are curious, do some research on the ' Lugol's Iodine Deficiency test ' . The iodine put near my wrist, disappeared in about 6-7 hrs. This seems to have indicted I was moderately deficient. Hard to know without lab tests but this seems about right. I have hardly any iodine in my diet.

This is so superior to J. Crows Lugols. I have been using J. Crows Lugol's 2% for over 20 years. I never bought any other brand. But I was fed up with their decline not only in the product, as it became 'weaker' and paler in color - but their droppers were IMPOSSIBLE not only to open, but the part you were supposed to squeeze became solid as a rock, and you would have to find a dropper from another bottle to use in a new bottle of Lugols. I found this product, as I have used this brand of DMSO in the past, and was impressed with the quality and packaging of this brand's product. The Lugols is dark, and you can tell fresh, the dropper works perfectly, and it is SO much larger for the price - and comes packaged in a heavy duty tube and box - you cannot ask for better. THIS (Helitropfen) WILL BE THE BRAND I WILL BUY FROM NOW ON - I hope they continue to manufacturer it - its so superior to J.Crows Lugols they are not even in the same ball park....

I had read about this on line . It looked like it was something that would benefit me. It was new to me. When it got here I noticed there were no instructions or recommendations. So like an idiot I thought because it has a dropper it's probably for putting it under your tongue. WELL THAT WAS A MISTAKE. it tasted awful and left a burning sensation in my mouth and the taste lasted for hours. I tried everything to get rid of the taste but it was strong.Anyway I had to look up instructions on how to use it. Everything is fine now and I believe it's making a difference. It's a little early to tell for sure. As a note I bought it because my thyroid was over active years ago so radiation killed it and now I am on levothyroxin the rest of my life. Things haven't been the same since. My hopes is this stuff will make a difference.

I use 3 drops weekly in about 3 ounces of water. This (iodine) is the only solution i found to my overheating problem. When I say overheating, I mean you can feel the heat radiate off of me when its 68 degrees in the room. This overheating issue would last hours, cause me to get a bad headache and nausea. It was awful. I researched possible causes and taking iodine was the easiest and cheapest. Lucky for me it worked.The overheating i woupd experience was just that my body would refuse to start sweating and just got hotter and hotter. Id have to point a fan at me for hours just to feel relief it was agonizing.Iodine is good just as a supplement (wothin reason and assuming you dont bave medical conditions that could react badly to it). My body needed iodine (i had stopped eating iodized salt which is why i thought this would work for my issues)Its now a weekly dose for me and no more overheating.I dont have any bad side effects, every so often i do get a bit nauseous but it last a few minutes and then is gone.Its got a very water like consistency. Not viscous at all.Will stain skin that you can'twash off (takes awhile to go away but eventually your body will absorb it all) ive never gotten it on anything else so no odea if it stains everything.Tastes like a hospital. Eating a piece of bacon directly after drinking water with a couple drops in it will make the icky taste go away faster, at the least hide it.Comes in a brown bottle which helps uv light to not degrade the product. Bottle comes in a tube. We keep are bottle in this tube to avoid light touching it ever. (Uv light is damaging and this product takes as many precautions as possible to stop uv light from getting in).

The Lugols Iodine came well packaged, delivered promptly.It appears to me this is now the max. strength readily available.

Ich habe den Artikel sehr schnell erhalten, was völlig unerwartet war. Er war gut verpackt und der Schaumstoff war fest. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. 2%-iges Lugol-Jod ist eine sehr preiswerte Jodlösung mit großem Fassungsvermögen. Es erfordert jedoch einige Mühe, es zu bekommen, und der Stopfen ist ziemlich dicht.
