Bissell Easy Sweep Compact Carpet & Floor Sweeper, 2484A, Teal

I had a cordless charged sweeper but there was a problem with the motor. I wanted the old fashion sweeper that my mother use to have in her closet. I was surprise they still made them but even better. It does what it does for "quickie" clean up. You don't need to plug anything. Just throw away the dirt when it's full. It's light and small enough to store in small areas. The quality of the sweeper was better than my mother's. So speed depends on you. I like to take my time. Be sure to check the bristles of tangled hair so that it performs well. It picks up when you reverse the motion but only when the dirt is in front. So the down side is it doesn't pick up dirt in the corners or edges of a floor. It does make a noise but not too loud than a vacuum cleaner. It does pick up dirt, hay, and guinea pig poop. I mainly use it in the room where my guineas are. I haven't tried it in the other rooms yet. I really, really like this because our vacuum cleaner is bulky, heavy and I have to plug in the wall. This is what I need for the pet room or if i just want a quick clean up. I picked the color blue to match my vacuum cleaner. I almost got another cordless charged sweeper but I found out that sometimes, they break quickly because things get stuck and burnt out the motor. It was nice for a while but you to have to continue to charge. High maintenance.

Super easy to put together and works great! The only problem I have with it is that it could use one more extension. I am 5 foot 5 and I have to lean over just a bit. Not a big deal, really, but even two or three more inches on the handle would have made it perfect. We have three Cojacks, and so we are constantly cleaning up hair and this came in super handy! Easy to assemble, easy to use, and to empty! No electricity so there is almost no noise which saves $$$$$ and means you can use it anytime you need (especially if you have roommates or live in an apartment building). DEFINITELY recommend!

The perfect tool for rugs that can't be vacuumed. If there were one improvement to suggest, it would be for the handle to be one section longer. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Handles dog hair so well.

Works very well on low carpet and rugs. The size is perfect, it fits in areas too narrow for my vacuum. It collects an incredible amount of dirt, pet hair, etc.,. It saves me time and energy. It's much easier to keep my apartment clean, especially with back issues. I don't have to vacuum as often. Well worth the 22.00

1. Make sure the logo is pointing the right direction, (forward) or it won't pick up anything at all. Inform all users (20+) that it will only work if the word "Bissell" is away from the user's feet. An arrow and a helpful word like "front" would save everyone a lot of aggravation when using. Instead, each person forgets, gets frustrated when "it's not working!", berates me, and then remembers this rule, only to promptly forget it again. 2. The plastic handle top piece (on ours) won't attach to the metal pole, and we all gave it a go. The 3 metal pieces of the pole went together easily, but the top plastic handle shouldn't take 20+ people screwing their wrists off to attach. It's still not attached, but each person can't believe the other 20+ people didn't mess it up, and has to try it for him/her/themself. Because the plastic handle won't attach to the metal pole, we cannot hang it in our storage room as intended. Instead, we now enjoy it's festive teal presence in our breakroom. We love to eat lunch with floor cleaning tools close to hand. 3. The plastic handle also prevents the metal pole from digging into one's palms when using, so without securely fastening to the metal, it falls off-a lot, which all of us find very annoying (see picture of handle on floor.) 4. It picks up about 1/3 of anything one tries to sweep up, so one ends up using 3x the force to fully sweep up debris-on a hard surface floor. (see picture of small debris on floor in front of sweeper) I can't even imagine what it won't do on a carpet. A dustpan and broom would be less effort, but would not be a single, contained unit. My team seems to lose dustpans, so the sweeper appeared to be a solution for this problem. 5. Finally, to empty the canister, one must use 2 hands to push open the bottom indentations (which are dirty/dusty), and there are two levers (one on each side) to empty. I believe a better design would allow a user to empty the sweeper one-handed, and without having to get so up-close and handsy with a dirty item. In short, this item is a lot more work to use than it should be. It's great for people who really feel like pushing a sweeper vigorously is accomplishing something. It does pick up some things (but not all the things). It can also provide a brisk workout and allow frustrated people to blow of steam, benefits which are not mentioned in the product description.

Saw one being used at Red Lobster and it did a wonderful job cleaning the floor after a birthday party. So much easier then getting out the vacuum and no need for electricity. I have used it on my carpets , tiled floors and even a couch. Cookie crumbs, chips and pet hair are no problem.

Gırgırladıktan sonra bir toz, çöp toplamış, şaşarsınız. Dikiş çöpü, iplik, ince kıllar hepsini alıyor. Küçük bir alet. Mavi gövdesi sert plastik, sopa ve kenar, alt kısımları metal. Sağlam, kaliteli üründür. Sopası dik durabiliyor, sopasında asılabilir yeri var. Elektrik süpürgesi kullanmaman yani o süpürge gürültüsünü çekmekten rahat ettim. Çok büyük olmadığı için(bir karış eni, 1,5 karış boyu) her yere sığan işe yarar bir üründür. Eğer isterseniz bu 1 fırçalı yerine 3, 4 fırçalı olanı alabilirsiniz. Bütçenize göre tercihi size bırakıyorum. Rengi ve ürün tam görseldeki gibidir. Eskiden evdeki gırgırımızı yemek masası altına eski bir halı serilirdi. Her yemek sonrası yemek kırıntıları gırgır ile alınırdı. Annem haftada ya da 3, 4 günde bir elektrik süpürgesini çalıştırırdı. Böylece evde ekonomi yapılırdı. I have just received the product.Having unpacked the box,I found only a small handle (Threaded End). There should have been an extension handle which is missing. The outer box was damaged and there was a hole at a corner. I guess either this has been removed or fallen. The product is useless without the long handle. Please rush me a replacement handle.

if you got rugs or carpets then mb, but not on tile, alsooo hair gets tangled, it doesnt get close to walls or corners, waaaayyy too overpriced for what it is
