I needed some storage containers for food and these are exactly what I needed. I know some people have mentioned cracked lids from how they were shipped but mine arrived in mint condition and I quickly ordered a second batch. They are airtight and are easy to open and close. It's also nice being able to see inside so you know what's in the box without opening it. They also stack well, which makes it easier to move them around. I'm very pleased with the quality and design of these boxes.

These Iris/Igloo storage bins stack nicely, have a tight-fitting lid, have lid clamps that seem to work well, and are a nice size for many products. Their generally square-corner design means they hold more or waste less space than many storage bins of similar size. I like the gasket around the lid, which provides a seal. I don't know how long the gasket will last, but under hot, cold, or normal conditions I would expect several to a number of years of durability from the material.It is possible to get the lid-clamping handles to "pop" off, but with a little patience, they can be reattached. Lid clamps on all storage bins are a weak link; however, the design of these handles seems better than many I've used in the past.All plastic storage bins have a finite life; however, some bins have greater utility than others. Many bins taper so much from top to bottom that what they will hold is compromised. Some bins when stacked slide every direction. These bins have relatively straight sides, and when stacked they stay in place (although I'm sure in a vehicle with fast corning they will slide).Plastic storage bins don't have the durability of steel bins with durable lid-clamping handles. What they do have is a price point that makes them affordable for many uses, unlike steel bins. These Iris/Igloo storage bins are priced well for their quality. They aren't the cheapest bins, but they certainly aren't prohibitively expensive. So far I've purchased them in several sizes and am totally satisfied with them.

I bought these specifically for a fairly unique reason - keeping my cats out from under my bed. They happen to be just the right height and width that they serve this role perfectly. Furthermore, they have allowed me to slightly increase my underbed storage while switching to containers that are easier to access than the long, cumbersome ones I used to have.My only complaint would be the fact that some of the inner ridges of the lids came cracked or broken. I used some packing tape to resecure the pieces. Even with them cracked or broken off, I don't THINK they'd significantly negatively impact the function of these containers. We'll see how well they hold up long term.

I’ve been a fan of these for years, but I always bought them at the store known for its organization products rather than ordering them online. Now, however, I’m 60 miles away from the closest branch so I decided to order them through Amazon. They were a warehouse item, supposedly in like new condition. Fortunately I ordered two boxes, because one box had 2 that were intact and the other had 4. At least I got the 6 I needed by combining them. Many were either missing handles altogether or the handles had broken off. I also ordered 2 each the 40 quart and file box sizes, Again, one or more either had broken lids or bases, or missing or broken handles.I almost ordered them all new, but judging by the reviews I figured there wasn’t much likelihood of all of them arriving intact. When I saw how poorly they’re protected for shipping I understand why that was.The other bummer is the gaskets. The quality is predicated on well fitting gaskets made of good materials. Unfortunately they’re made so poorly that many of them had fallen off the lids and none are made as a solid unbroken piece.Im going to check them out next time I’m at the brick and mortar store I’ve gotten them from in the past. Interested to see if they’re made better for them.

I had some still from a move a few years ago. They are so perfect for storing extra clothes etc but I am moving soon so ordered more and will probably order some more maybe if price drops during Amazon days

These things are great for storing clothes! Easy to label, stackable, and sturdy! The lid provides a great seal!

The lids were a nice feature and waterproof, but the boxes themselves were not UV-resistant and cracked about a year later. Now they are incredibly fragile. I recommend using indoors only, out of sunlight.
