We are using this shelf in our RV closet to add additional storage above the tension bar. It was easy to install and seems to be quality made.

I really love these shelves for adding to a closet and getting more use from empty spaces. They are strong and have held up for two years so far. Easy to install, too.

1000% misleading product description. THIS IS NOT A TENSION ROD SHELF!!! It has TINY loosen/tighten twist screws on one end but there are NO TENSION ROD SPRINGS within the bars on the shelf. There's no tension holding this together on the wall. The "expandable" part is held together by tiny screws, there's no locking mechanism to keep those in place and the entire thing is just praying you don't extend it to the full width or the thin metal will bend at the center under nominal weight. This won't be held by tension to the wall, it would only be held by the add-on stickers that come with it (wonder why). BAD PRODUCT. Returned immediately. False advertising. NOT A TENSION SHELF.

All in all, product is sturdy and functional, but I probably wouldn't buy again. Minus - a bit challenging to get installed, and the adhesive backing on the plastic end cups does stick securely to drywall & will damage the dry wall & paint if/when you try to remove them. Also, the spacing distance between the metal rods is OK for storing larger items (like towels and shoes) but is too much wide for small items unless you add some sort of a platform.

Perfect fit and use as an angle shoe shelf. Adjustable, sturdy and strong. Put it inside my deacon's chair find. Extended it only 5 inches or so.

Cleaning up my closet and this helped clean up shoe storage in a shelf. Worked great! I did watch a video posted on reviews showing to pre drill. It is NOT NECESSARY to pre drill with self tapping screws that were sent in packaging. I do however think the company should have sent directions versus going to look for a review from buyer.
