Worth the money
I used this Serum every night for 2 weeks when I noticed my face was staying red & irritated. I skipped 3 nights & just used moisturizer. My skin returned to normal & I started using it again. My skin is fine this time & I continue to use it every night. I am happy with the results. My skin is looking firmer, more radiant & smoother, so don't give up if at first your skin becomes irritated. Your skin has to adjust to it.

My 56-year-old skin has less fine wrinkles, less breakouts and is more even in tone. I still have a couple of faint dark spots, but otherwise, my skin is clear. My skin took about 5 weeks to get used to this product and was red and peeling until then. I just use it at night and wear moisturizer and sunscreen during the day. This product has done more for my complexion than any other one product I have used.

Dishonest about ingredients
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Online, the ingredients list looks good. But, beware, when you receive the product, the ingredients list "BHT" a terrible preservative known to disrupt the endocrine systems is listed. This is dishonest and was a waste of my time to order it, then return it. I will never buy a product from them again. I do not recommend this product.

I started out with this milder retinol, and probably a good thing as I have a little pink to my skin. I have received compliments from my friends about my skin lately, so I think it is doing exactly what it should be.

Great Product!
I found out about Retriderm through my esthetician. I decided to try it. I have very delicate/sensitive skin, and prescription strength retinol products are too harsh for me. After three weeks of use, my skin is softer and smoother. I plan to keep using this.

Biopelle is a winner.
Biopelle Retriderm Serum works for me! It seems to keep my skin calm & I have less breakouts. You don’t need to apply much for it to be effective. Unfortunately the price is upper end.

Two Stars
I don't think it worked very well for me. Maybe it did for others but I wasn't a fan.

The difference between Retin-A and retinol. A slower acting cousin.
Retinol is not to be confused with Retin-A. Both are retinoids that is derivatives of vitamin A which has been proven to help increase collagen production and aid in skin cell turnover. Retin-A is prescription only. Retinol when applied to the skin must be converted by enzymes into retinoic acid. Only after that conversion can it act in a positive way on your skin. That being the case, its effectiveness is slower and takes more time to be visible, perhaps 6 months in many cases. Still, stronger concentrations may cause irritation on the skin. I tried a much stronger concentration and my skin didn't seem to react well so I opted to have my skin adjust more gradually with this weaker concentration. The downside is that any results will now be even slower. After a month of use, I really haven't noticed any results but feel at least my skin is being conditioned to accept stronger concentrations so I switched to the next higher concentration before returning to my original strongest product still waiting to be returned to. I had to give it a merely average rating not for any notable negatives, only because I can't advise that I saw any real results, plus the less than inexpensive purchase price. But if it did its conditioning work perhaps it will be worth it eventually. For anyone looking for the most rapid results, perhaps it might be worth a visit to a dermatologist for Retin-A. Do your homework and know that before Retin-A shows improvement in your skin it can make it look worse, as in dryness and flaking, before the newer skin is revealed underneath.
