Comfortable Hooks - Love Them
I’m just beginning my crochet journey & initially purchased cheap hooks. Having used these ones for a few days now I’m delighted with them. Very smooth & I’ve had no snagging, they glide with ease & I’d highly recommend investing in them. I also suffer from arthritis in my dominant thumb & these hooks really do reduce the pain level. Really can’t praise these hooks enough.

I've been using these Clover Amour crochet hooks for about 8 years and I needed to purchase another set for my travel crochet bag. These are an excellent option for if you need crochet hooks in the larger sizes. I do prefer to use metal however, but the metal ones I use (Tulips and Clovers) don't come larger than 6.5 mm. I use a lot of chunky yarns for sweaters and Afghans, and these are perfect for the thicker yarns. Yarn glides very easily with these hooks, and there are no sharp edges. The only yarn type I've never tried with these are those really scratchy "scrubby" yarns, which I only use with the low end aluminum hooks. I also like the ergonomic handles, and the fact they are lightweight so my wrists don't fatigue as fast, especially when using the thicker heavier yarns. I would recommend to get a set of these, and wait for a sale. In addition to the set of five, they also offer a set of seven where you get the 12 mm and the 15 mm hooks that are not offered in this set.
