Why did you pick this product vs others?: This headgear is very protective and the full leather allows an easy maintenance. I love it.

Nicely designed headgear with extra protection. It is on the bulky side due to the extra padding. Had to return it due to it not being USA boxing approved for competition. If you’re looking for a USA boxing Masters competition approved headgear than it’s either Title or Sting Masters.

Great gear! Well built and works like a charm with lots of protection but at the cost of field of view. Well worth the money if you need the protection. I think they run a touch small since I went by the sizing chart on their website, ordered a large and needed a bigger size... If you're at the upper end of the recommended size maybe go larger, otherwise awesome deal!

Pros- good protection for head, cheeks, and nose. Quality seems good Cons-slips and slides. Used a large in my first bout and was all over the place. Medium fits my head nicely, but the cheek protectors really obstruct view. Returned the medium and ended up buying the newer title headgear in a large. As of 03/2019 title offers two choices for headgear and ringside offers one choice for masters. I have not tried titles older model My size - 160lbs, 5’7.5”, 22” head circumference

Nearing middle age I'm new at boxing, and read about how this product is for 40+ and beginners due to the very good cushioning and protection it provides. Here's what I've found after wearing it now in a couple sparring matches, one that got a bit more intense than "light" sparring: Comfort: Not really comfortable at all. It's not unpleasant, but after wearing other family member's gear it's definitely not as comfortable as a Venum product or Hyabusa product. I think this is attributed to how tightly I have to adjust the straps to keep it in place. Protection: Here is where this product EXCELS! This thing has so much cushioning, which is why it's great for people like me who are going to take a LOT of shots as we start out. I took some hard shots, and the only reason I knew was the jolt not because it hurt where I was hit. The cheek guards do a good job of protecting my nose too. Fit: This fits perfectly, especially with the chin strap being adjustable. Craftsmanship: This is a really well made product. I can see this thing lasting a REALLY long time. With the chin strap being a buckle style, I don't see it wearing out any time soon. Miscellaneous: One of my biggest complaints, and the one that leads to my poor rating of comfort, is that there is no lining inside the headgear. While this is great for quick cleaning, it also means this thing slides around like crazy if you don't put it on tightly. On a final note, this product is approved for competition, so if you ever plan on doing that you may as well train in what you will be wearing during the match.

Excellent. Might run a little small. If you have a big coconut go with an XL. My head size is average and the large fits perfectly. It's made of leather and us very comfortable. Fits snug so it won't move around while sparring.
