USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter for PC [v4.0 Class 2 with Low Energy Technology] (BT-UB40)

Works flawlessly with Arch Linux. I use it for my Bluetooth earbuds, have not tried file transfers yet. It has genuine CSR chip & hence a bit pricey compared to other fake Chinese clones. But very much worth the money. Other users have reported audio issues, but that has nothing to do with the adapter itself. Those audio issues they reported are to do with Pulseaudio utility. I'm very much happy with this product.

Cd Installed software made my computer run slow. Alternately I was able to use it with no prior software installation. Just connected to usb and it worked! Nice handy design and good quality. Good performance , never slowed the my headset connected thru it

Absolutely no issues with Windows 10.. gets auto detected and drivers gets installed.. rest it's breeze. Range is good as well. Haven't used in Linux yet.. price was but in higher side compared to others but may be that's due to the chipsets used due to which it works so seamlessly

Product quality is awesome. Supplied with mini Driver CD and nice colored installation instructions booklet which facilitates its easy installation even by a child . Nice product. Bluetooth icon also placed in microsoft word files also automatically for transferring text documents in your phone added with this device instantly. Easy transfer and share of files, speed is good.

Good range and does not drop connection. Tested on Windows 10 and Ubuntu 20.04. It's plug and play. No drivers needed.

Bad product. Extremely high audio input delay. I can literally tell the delay between me clicking my mouse and receiving the respective audio, despite plugging it into a 3.1 port.

With this much cost, a lot was expected. But, the range seems to be less. I faced problem with stereo output in Ubuntu 18.04 (Linux). If I wanted to use both Microphone and Speaker of my Bluetooth Wireless headset, the connection went MONO. To get stereo output, I had to select another microphone. Sad, didn't expect this. The LED doesn't glow. And there is a cheaper Chinese alternetive to this, but I purchased this as its non chinese, but twice the cost. But, it did not meet the expectations.

Good product. Barring once or twice, it connects to Linux flawlessly. I have tested it on Manjari Linux, Solus Linux, MX Linux. On Windows 7, I had to install the bundled drivers.

After trying other products on my Linux box without success, very happy with this one. Identified without a hitch by the OS, very good range (detects Neighbour's devices). Comes with driver CD for Windows. Great device.

Auf der Suche nach vollumfänglich funktionierenden BT-Stick für Homeassistant bin ich über den BT-UB40 von Sabrent gefallen... Auch wenn BT 4.0 vielleicjt nicht mehr ganz auf der Höhe der zeit ist so kann der Stick doch zumindest im Zusammenspiel mit Homeassistant voll punkten. EInrichtung ohne Probleme und Erkennungsrate aller meiner Geräte bei 100%. Reichweite bauartbedingt vielleicht nicht die Beste aber ca. 8m mit zwei Wänden sind noch im Empfangsbereich.

Działa na Linuksie, nie rozłącza się i nie wyrzuca bugów w dmesg. Do tego nie potrzeba instalować dodatkowej paczki typu linux-firmware. Polecam!

L'adattatore USB della Sabrent si presenta molto bene, piccolo, compatto, ben confezionato, una scatola che contiene le istruzioni, un CD con i driver e l'invito ad iscriversi al sito del produttore per estendere la garanzia. L'ho utilizzata su un computer fisso, per parlare in video conferenza usando le cuffie della Shokz OpenRun Pro. Segnale stabile, e molto chiaro. La portata non è eccezionale, se vado in un'altra stanza, il segnale non è costante, ma per l'uso che ne devo fare, in videoconferenza dentro la stessa stanza in cui è inserito l'adattatore, ha funzionato benissimo. Vedremo con l'uso continuativo nel tempo. Non ho avuto bisogno di installare nessun driver, inserito l'adattatore USB in una delle porte del mio hub, il PC (utilizzo Windows 11 aggiornato all'ultima versione) l'ha subito riconosciuta, è comparso il "classico" simbolo, l'icona blu del bluetooth, ci ho cliccato sopra, ha individuato le cuffie ed il collegamento è partito. Spedizione Amazon Prime puntualissima. Pagato 8,99, arrivato in un giorno.
