Excellent little card readers! Bought two, one for me one for her, to use with our new Lenovo tablets for backing up and transferring files. I already had the USB A version for my PC but the tablets need type C versions. These are exactly the same and work just as brilliantly. Simply plug in to your device, they connect immediately, and you can access the storage straight away. I inserted 128Gb microSD cards in for transferring files to and from the tablets and they are recognised but I haven't tried anything with higher storage capacity. If you are transferring gigbytes of files in one go (as I did) the cards do get warm but the device doesn't. Works with Windows OS and Android but cannot say for anything else. Convenient size too btw, as it is small enough to slip in a pocket and carry around with you. If using on a tower pc from a front facing USB port the card readers will of course dangle down, as the cables are very short, but that is fine as it reminds me to take the reader out when not in use.

+ Decent price - considering how much Apple want for their version + Good quality finish - anodised aluminium, braided lead + Transfer speeds good - photos very quick, GoPro vids - maybe 2 mins for a half hour clip + SD card slot has a nice firm feel to the push to release function + Works with my 2019 iPad Pro - Micro SD card slot doesn’t have the same release function - if I push the card to release it just goes further in and then can only be removed with a pair of forceps. However it still works and the amount of insertion required to read files means that it’s removable by just pulling it out (as long as you have fingernails - the card protrudes about 1mm)

Needed to transfer Raw images to an IPad from an SD card. Works great and build quality is good.

A nice piece of kit that works perfectly with my iPhone and iPad. Excellent value for money and arrived quickly. I’ve only had it for a short time but experience so far is very positive. Highly recommended.

I purchased this to transfer photographs from my camera to IPad. Excellent quality feel, look and operation. Much better than many of the plastic versions. Including, the official Apple SD card reader, which looks cheap and inferior compared to the Uni reader. And MUCH more expensive! It works seamlessly with the IPad Pro 2018, which recognised the SD card content as soon as the reader cable was connected to the USB-C port. Transfer speeds are more than acceptable. The SD card insert is a bit tight but works perfectly. I particularly like the fact that the SD ports are spring loaded, which requires a reassuring click in order to engage and disengage the SD cards. Attention to detail is excellent. Although not the main reason for purchasing this item, I like the included soft drawstring bag, which shows that thought has been given to the fact that this will probably be used when travelling. In conclusion, this is an excellent buy which ticks all the boxes

Bought this uni USBC Card reader because I wanted a small, simple card reader. And its a great little product, really well made, solid aluminium and braided cable. The transfer speeds are very fast - saves me a lot of time on every upload from my SD cards. I do shoot a lot of drone video, and also lots of hi-res images and the upload speeds are good much faster than the old reader I was using. Love the click in and out on the reader much easier to use. Anything I would change? - Possibly a little LED light to see when its reading or writing. Overall, an excellent and simple solution for not a lot of money 10/10.

Acquistato per poter importare file raw da SDXC su IPad Pro. Ottima qualità costruttiva, si riesce ad inserire anche in presenza di cover sui dispositivi tipo smartphone o tablet. Cavo molto resistente. Gli slot presentano una molla di inserimento ed estrazione molto comoda (soprattutto per micro SD). Non ho potuto fare un benchmark dato che non possiedo un computer dotato di usb-c 3.0 ma a spanne vi assicuro che i 5GigaBit ci sono tutti. Compatibile anche con iPhone 15. È leggero ma di OTTIMA qualità. Consigliatissimo per fotografi e/o videomaker, è sottile e non occupa molto spazio.

Bra pris, bra storlek, bra hastighet. Jag kan inte säga någonting om hållbarhet, för jag fick den nyss, jag hade tyckt om ifall usb kabeln till själva läsaren gick att ta bort (och byta ut när den väl går sönder); men hittills är jag helnöjd.
