just used it today to help speed up a rear brake/rotor job. worked as it should. I expected it to be more of an impact type action, but it isn't, as far as I can tell. I will read the manual to see if I messed anything, but this currently does not act like an impact socket or driver.

Seems like very good quality for the price. I've used it a few times on different vehicles and it has been durable and easy to use. Only time will tell how long it will actually last, but so far the last few months, it has given the (much) more expensive brands a run for their money (pun intended).

I was a little skeptical about the effectiveness of a power ratchet. I didn't know if a battery-powered ratchet could get the job done. I watch the show "Graveyard Carz" and they use them all the time, so I thought "They must be powerful enough, at least for most small jobs". Also, I've recently purchased a battery-powered weed whacker and lawn mower. They work great and seem to have enough power to get the job done. Anyway, I bought this Delco power ratchet because it was the only one that was within a reasonable price range that could produce 45 ft/lbs of tork. All of the others were 35 or below. I've now used it on a few small jobs repairing things around the house and have to say that I couldn't be happier with its performance. It's kind of heavy but that's to be expected due to the battery and also the drive mechanism. It can't always get a nut loosened that torqued down or rusted, but you can use it manually (it locks in place so you can use it like a normal ratchet) to loosen the nut, and then take it off with by powering it on. If you're tightening, if you need more torque than it puts out, then finish as you would with a normal ratchet. So far, so good with this product. It seems like its built well and will last a long time. My only concern is the battery's longevity. But that's always the concern with battery-powered tools.

I've only had this item for 2-3 weeks and used it 2x so I will update review as time goes on but for now, its everything I wanted from an electric ratchet... When tightening items, it will automatically stop when it has tightened as much as it can. I assume this is to prevent the motor from damaging itself but at this point, if you need bolts tighter, you can manually use this as you would another ratchet up to 100 FT lbs according to the box which is awesome... 1st job i did was an oil change and it easily broke loose the oil drain plug. I also used it to install an exhaust system which made it so much easier to install and a lot less physical work for me! I Had to take off a few 16mm, 14mm and 13mm bolts. it was able to take off most bolts with out manually loosening them first. all but the 2 13mm bots attached to my downpipe. I used a torque wrench and they took more than 95 FT LBS to break loose so this tool was never going to break them free on its own LOL . Once free I then used the ratchet to take them off quickly The best part about this tool is that you can use it manually to loosen/tighten bolts to 100 FT lbs and then use the motor to unscrew/screw them super quick. I believe this is the intention of this tool - to MANUALLY loosen bolts and then use the motor to get them off quicker and same for putting them back on - use the motor until it stops and then MANUALLY tighten bolts more if needed. I feel manually breaking bolts loose will greatly extend the motor and battery life vs using the motor to break them loose but this is just my opinion. The tool was heavier than i initially expected but it is also very sturdy and seems very durable as well. Theres not much else to say, its an electric ratchet at the end of the day haha Ill update this as time goes on and I use it for more auto jobs but for $68, I am happy with it thus far! Worth it. Almost as strong as my snap on one, use this daily. The sockets were thrown in a drawer but the ratchet is self is great. Holds battery for days of use.

I like this tool. I work on my car only and don't need the expensive stuff. This tool has helped me change out my car's Throttle body, change my head gasket, intake manifold gasket change my breaks, thermostat housing, and a few other parts on my car. Has not failed me yet. I have forgotten to charge it a few time but that was on me. Great bang for your buck. It saved my chubby self from being hunched over for too long. I can't believe it took me so long to buy one.

I work in a crash repair place and I use this tool every day. And still work like new even after all this months, the battery life is decent and the tool is very strong, yes I already dropped many times and still works fines. I think for the price the tool is excellent and I really recommend. The only bad point in my opinion is the speed, but apart from that is excellent.
