Bloch Dance Women's Performa Stretch Canvas Split Sole Ballet Shoe/Slipper

I took a long break from dancing but recently decided to take up ballet again. Bloch never disappoints. Normally I wear a 7.5 so I ordered a 5.5 and they fit like a glove! The canvas is soft and durable, offering the perfect traction for the dance studio. Also, they came with the elastic already sewn on. Very happy with this purchase!

Perfect ! Well made. Good quality. NOT CHEAP! Good material soft and fitted to your foot. I am a 6 and 6.1/2 street shoe size so the 6.1/2 was TOO big. I went with one smaller 5.5 but could had fit on a 5 also. But I am ALSO a narrow foot. The shoe is soft material fits like a glove. Beautiful and well made

I started to take adult ballet last year and I love it. (I am 58.) I started with Capezios. They were good but I am having trouble with metatarsalgia. These Bloch shoes have a bit of a wider toe area and also the leather on the bottom covers a wider area, so cushions more of the ball of my foot. I don't know how much to attribute to better shoes or other measures, but my metatarsalgia is improving. (I am doing foot stretches and massage and rest as well.) I do find the straps to be on the snug side and I have pretty narrow and skinny (albeit long) feet. I got an 8.5 and normally wear a 10.5 in street shoes. I think an 8C would have worked but kept them because I don't want my toes to be squished.

I’m a size 9 wide. I was very nervous to order 2 sizes down as the reviews suggested. However, I ended up ordering the size 7 wide & 7.5 wide. The size 7 wide fit my feet perfectly, however the elastics were way too tight and uncomfortable. The size 7.5 wide fit great, however there is a pinch of extra room towards the point of the shoe as it’s bigger. The elastics were very comfortable on this size. I decided to keep the 7.5 and return the 7. Overall, the shoes are excellent quality.

I typically wear a women’s 7.5 street shoe, 7 in crocs or other brands that don’t have half sizes, and tend to go up an 8 in running shoes. After reading reviews and debating between regular or wide, I went with a regular 5.5, and they fit perfect!! Going 2 sizes down from street size was spot on like everyone said, and I was able to get it right on the first try, so I hope this helps! I haven’t done ballet since I was 6, I’m 36 now, and these have me ready to sign up for local beginner ballet classes. I had no idea such comfortable ballet shoes existed and at such a great price point. The color, material, and split sole are EVERYTHING. I am in love with these!!

I'm NOT a dancer, just a tropical person who went barefoot most of her life displaced in a cold climate trying to get back in shape at 62 by trying out ballet where barefoot isn't an option. I wear a Size 9, have narrow feet, but like a wide toe box in normal shoes. I fearfully ordered a 7.5 shoe wide after reading a bazillion reviews. Pleased to say they fit perfectly for time that I wear them which is only when doing yoga or attempting to learn ballet.

As suggested i bough 2 sizes down. Im a 7.5 in street shoes so I got a 5.5D . They're quite comfortable with decent support. I find that theyre a little snug on my left foot leaving not much room for spread so if youre on the cusp maybe make sure to get a wide or go up a half size.

Super comfortable, I don't get stuck on the dance floor during turns, and durable!
