Bionaire BOH2502A Electric Heater

I ordered a unit with mechanical controls as shown on the website and indicated by the model number. I received a digital control unit. The difference is that Bionaire has not produced either units for some years, therefore warranty is questionable. A mechanical control unit with a switch and a thermostat can easily be troubleshot and repaired whereas an electronic control cannot be and replacement part, if available, would be costly. The seller should replace the picture and description of the oiled filled heater with the digital control, electronic circuit board, they actually sell.

Just got off the phone with Bionaire. They were surprised to see the statement that these do not work in the U.S. In fact she said that Bionaire does not support the statement that these do not work in the U.S. I do not have one but would like to buy. I gave a 4 star rating only because you cannot post a review without rating and there is no other way to get this info out.
