I'm very familiar with HDMI matrix switches, having owned them for many, many years as a very heavy user of this particular type of equipment (family home, not professional setting). When my (different brand) original one died of old age, I bought a bargain box to replace it. We soon found that this bargain box had several problems, including failing to pass through audio on at least two separate sources, plus poor IR signal rejection from other remotes, and interfering codes that shut the box down. I searched for a new box and found THIS current Ferrisa switch. I am extremely pleased with the performance of this switch! It not only solves the problems of the cheap switch I bought, but it out-performs my old switch, as well. The box is dang-near perfect so far; I cannot find anything wrong with it, and there is a whole lot right with it. The box switches fast between sources, it switches reliably, it rejects other signals (which means that I can use it with my IR extender just perfectly!), and it passes through all signals with accuracy. I have two (2) completely different spec TVs connected to it (an LG traditional HDTV and a Sharp Roku HDTV), as well as four (4) varied HDMI sources (a TiVo, a DVD player, an Amazon FireStick, and a Google Chromecast). Audio is routed through the main TV path to a Bose box in one of the rooms and on-board in the other, but I could route audio from the switch if I wanted to -- a nice backup feature. The IR repeater I own lets me switch from both the living room and the kitchen, with the box receiving the IR repeater signal perfectly and responding immediately. The indicator lights on the box itself are bright enough to see, but not so bright that they interfere with viewing in a dark room, like some other boxes do. The on-board source switching buttons are a great backup to the remote, if I ever need to use them. Overall, I have to say that I'm really pleased with this switch! It was worth every penny, and I learned my lesson buying cheaper switches. The price point of this switch is very fair for what you get, and I'd recommend it to anyone.

The FERRISA 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch has been a great addition to my setup. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do—smoothly switching between multiple HDMI sources and outputs without signal loss or noticeable lag. The picture and sound quality are excellent, and having 4 inputs with 2 outputs gives a lot of flexibility for different devices and displays. Setup was straightforward, and once connected, everything worked reliably. I really appreciate how convenient it is to route different sources to different screens without constantly unplugging cables. I use this to switch between a firestick, playstation and media box, to send the picture from the 3 different devices to a tv and a projector. you can watch the same thing on both or different things on both of the devices simultaneously. it is great That said, the remote feels cheap, and the buttons seem delicate, so I handle it carefully. Also, I do wish the indicator lights on the front of the switch would dim when not in use. They’re quite bright for their very small size, which can be noticeable in a darker room. Overall, this is a solid and reliable HDMI matrix switch that performs well and offers great functionality. Despite the minor design quirks, it’s a strong value and I’d still recommend it to anyone needing a versatile HDMI switching solution.

- 1/30/2023. Revised back to 5-star for product and service. Seller reached out and offered an upgraded 4k 60hz HDMI Matrix 4X2, support HDMI 2.0, HDCP 2.2 switch for me to try. My initial impressions are very positive and device is so far working as expected without anomalies. As of this writing, the upgraded unit is not time-tested but I am optimistic especially given the proactive service and support provided by seller. - Reduced to-stars after device began faulting: Bought in July 2022 and was initially very happy. All functions performed well and switch was working flawlessly for all HDMI and audio connections from multiple sources and to multiple devices. Over time, however, device became faulty on HDMI2 input - would not switch reliably. Picture was flawed but audio switched okay. Replacement unit (under warranty) received in December, but by early January, audio input was not switching correctly - optical source was not to be heard yet aux (analog) audio switches cleanly. Switching back and forth between HDMI input ports with remote clears problem...but issue keeps recurring. Initially very happy, but now very disappointed in product. Since build seems solid, I imagine item is being manufactured with inferior/cheap components - that's my guess.

This is quite an impressive gadget and worked quite well for about 4 months. I mainly used it to switch a windows pc and a macbook between two monitors. The good days didn't last though, as it started becoming glitchy with my macbook, and finally stopped working. The device loses signal from macbook pro once I close the laptop lid. Tried everything, and was able ot eliminate any issues by directly connecting the monitor to my macbook via HDMI, and that works quite well. Tried playing around with EDID settings as well. Its a bummer since I really liked this device. I have reached out to product support, and waiting for a response. Like I said, it works awesome, until it doesn't. And although the product page says it offers one year warranty, the seller information or details on how to contact the seller for warranty simply isn't listed anywhere. Update : I was able to finally contact the seller through Amazon and I am pleased to note that they stood by their one year product warranty. I received a new updated version of the product at no cost to me at all, and it has been working great! Highly recommend this seller for their integrity and customer service.

Product arrived faulty. I needed to wait to test it until I got my other items together. Once everything arrived I plugged it in and nothing worked. No power, no led lighting, nothing. Since it is out of return/swap window I’m down my money and have a paper weight..

This HDMI switch works for 4 inputs and 2 outputs! Most switches I see only had 1 output and this one supports 2 displays for my work and personal MacBook. Very easy to switch using the remote provided. The separate audio source also let me have a bass on my personal and use the TV/headphone audio for my work. Thank you for this product

TL/DR: get hdmi splitters and hdmi headless with this or switching will be a pain. I ordered and received "FERRISA 4x2 HDMI Matrix Switch" that has 4 input to 2 output and is supposed to allow switching either of the 4 inputs to either of the 2 outputs. When the input changes, the computer thinks you unplugged the monitor and it resets its displays. I have 3 computers and 2 1080p monitors. The first computer is linux with dual output using input 1 and 2 (h1,h2) on the matrix. The second is win7 with 1 hdmi into matrix 3 (h3) and 1 vga (v1) directly into the second monitor. The third is win10 with 1 hdmi into matrix 4 (h4). Because h1is split off to my tv before the matrix, it works with no problems. However, h2 and h3 cause the matrix to take about 10 seconds to switch if it even decides to switch. The real problem comes when I want to see h4 with any other screen. in order to get h4 on either output, I have to first set o1 to h4 then o2 to h4 then I can switch either h1 or h3 to either output but h2 rarely finds its way on to either screen. I figure if I get hdmi splitters and hdml headless emulators, I can trick the computers into thinking the monitors have not been unplugged. If you are looking to get something like this, I would recommend paying a little more and find one that has headless switching.

The LED bulb shows clearly what input it is - Remote is easy to change the inputs - and no sync issues - it is only day one - but I don't foresee any issues with the item - works great as shown - it is a tad more - but does have two optical outputs - that is really cool. (It worked right out of the box - nothing to fix or change - I like that! Two TVs and DVD Player - Shaw Box - and Other.)

４入力２出力で他製品を最初に購入したものの謳い文句ではHDR対応だったにも関わらず結果映像が色褪せて表現せれたということで非対応だったと判断した為返品、コチラを再購入。結果問題なく作動、環境的に目的を全うできた。 そして前製品より遥かに切り換えが速く満足の製品。

Ersteinmal: Es tut genau das, was es tun soll. Der Ton kommt über den Kanal 1 und wird sauber an den Verstärker weitergegeben. Ich verwende das Gerät, um das Bild zwischen dem Fernseher und dem Beamer schalten zu können. Es ist damit auch möglich, zwei verschiedene Eingänge aufzuteilen, d.h. zBsp auf dem TV Eingang 1 anzuzeigen (mit Ton) und auf dem Beamer Eingang 3 (dann ohne Ton, da Ton nur über Ausgang 1 geliefert wird). Die LEDs sind nicht störend, sie sind angenehm "dunkel", so dass sie nicht stören bzw abgeklebt werden müssen. Man sollte allerdings darauf achten: Das Gerät wird über einen USB Anschluss mit Strom versorgt. Nimmt man nun statt einem gesonderten Netzteil zBsp. eine USB Buchse am Receiver, muss der auch eingeschaltet sein, bzw. muss er sich ausschalten, damit das Gerät nicht dauerhaft läuft.

j'avais un autre commutateur qui ne faisait pas correctement le boulot entre le visionnage sur le tv ou la tv avec celui la rien de plus simple on choisi l'appareil et on choisi la sortie tv ou projecteur et hop il ne reste plus qu'a s'installer confortablement plus de prise de tète merci au concepteur.
