Backyard Hummingbird Nester; Rustic Handmade Hummingbird Nest Builder

This next builder is very well constructed. It is exactly as described and as shown, very cute. I gave it 5 stars because of the quality workmanship. I do not know if the hummingbirds will use it yet since I've just attached it against my house (up high under the overhang so protected from wind/rain and away from predators and high traffic areas), and the little hummers are just starting to arrive in my area. Will update later if a hummer builds a nest. Even if a hummer does not build a nest I would not change my star rating since the nester is solidly well built, and it's basically trial and error whether placement is cohesive for a hummer.

This is very cute. Makes a nice decor for the yard, but the hummingbirds have no interest in it. It is odd because this year the hummers have been so inquisitive to everything in the yard.

Wonderfully crafted! I have put one in a tree and another just outside a strawberry bush. I will update with photos if our little hummers decide to use the nesting spots! Fingers crossed, I love these houses

Didn’t work out. Could be where I placed it. I will try another spot next season

I don’t think I’m going to buy this as it sounds like the hummingbirds won’t use it. It’s not being placed in the wrong area. I just think the birds won’t use man made nests.

Now to see if a hummer will actually use it.
