Presto 07211 Liddle Griddle

I LOVE this Liddle Griddle! I bought it to replace my small grill that I'd had forever and wanted to try something different. I enjoy making pancakes, but it's kind of annoying to balance between two frying pans, plus I cook eggs every morning, so I thought a griddle would be a fun change. This is the perfect size for me, and it fits just right on my countertop. I can cook two 1/4 C. pancakes at a time. So far, I've made two batches of pancakes, and this griddle is absolutely wonderful! It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. I brush a little butter on and have had zero issues with sticking. It has a little side tray to catch drippings and crumbs. There is a slight slope to it, so if you get your pancake mix a little too close to that area, the batter can run down that side some. I've thrown a few eggs on it as well, and the Griddle does a great job! Still a little learning curve to get them just the way I like them. Looking forward to eventually cooking some hamburgers on here to see how it goes. What I love the most is it's super easy to clean!! My little grill was kind of a nuisance, and I never felt like it was really clean enough with the ridges that were on it, no matter how much I scrubbed it. The Griddle wipes clean so easily, and you can put it in the sink with soapy water. So nice! Highly recommend the Liddle Griddle!!

Nice little grill. The surface heats up quite evenly and holds heat. I use it primarily for breakfast hashbrowns, eggs and bacon/sausage. also great for pancakes and French toast. It handles burgers or steak with ease. The grill area is small but very do-able if you're creative. Works well cooking for one or two. I am very pleased. I use it daily.

I already own the regular size Presto griddle that works great, but I want a smaller one that's easier to handle because even with my large family, I don't need to cook everything at the same time, and a smaller one is so much easier to handle, clean and store: you don't need a lot of counter space to use it. That matters to me because my kitchen counter, though large, is often full of junk and difficult to find space. This small griddle can still make 4 large French toast at the same time, and it cooks evenly, as my picture shows. Tip: to ensure even cooking, preheat the griddle at a slightly lower temperature than you need for a few minutes before using. That way, the heat spreads everywhere on the griddle and you don't have uneven hot spots. Fantastic griddle. Washes easily, griddle can even be submerged after you take the cord off. Higly recommended! Postscript: I also include here instructions on how I use the Presto Griddle to make French toast: Step 0. Make your favorite French toast dip (made with milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, etc). 1. Preheat griddle at 225F for 5 minutes. 2. Butter up to 4 large or 6 regular slices of bread on ONE side. 3. Put the bread slices buttered side DOWN onto the griddle and raise the temperature to 250F. Use a tablespoon to scoop the dip onto each slice, spreading it around with the bottom of the spoon until each slice is soaked with dip, about 2-3 tablespoons of dip per slice. Start timer at 3 minutes and cover it with a lid or tin foil. 4. Flip slices and cook, UNcovered, for 3 more minutes. It's done! Note: Normal French toast requires you to dip the entire bread slice into the dip, then move it to the griddle while dripping everywhere. My method is easier and cleaner, and what's more, the buttered side will be crispy like a real toast, whereas if you dip the whole bread, the French Toast is more like browned bread pudding. That's why you do NOT cover after flipping and cooking the second 3 minutes, so the crispy side doesn't turn soggy. I make French toast with old bread that I need to get rid of, and my kids love it! More tips: Keep old bread in the fridge; they last forever that way. Make a regular batch of dip and keep it in the freezer. Then thaw it out when you are in the mood to cook French toast. Cook as many or few as you want, and if you have extra dip afterwards, put it back in the freezer for the next time. If you thaw the dip in the microwave, don't overheat or the egg in the dip will curdle.

My liddle griddle arrived in its box with no damage to the box. Inside box had protective foam wrapped around the griddle. I had to attach the handles with no issues, quick and easy. Heats up fast after a first hand wash to the griddle without dipping entire griddle in water, just light wash and wipe off AND it maintained the heat! Cools down quickly. No sticking , I made fried eggs..and buttered up an English Muffin for that grilled taste.. golden brown and yummy! Great value for the price! Easy to clean and store away. It’s the perfect lightweight liddle griddle for my kitchen!

It's a good size if you're going solo. I use it most everyday & replace it every year since the non-stick surface wears out after a couple months (and I always hand wash it carefully). I have to tighten the leg screws periodically since they self-loosen. Still, I like the small size & it's very reliable.

Great size, even cooking, easy cleaning, heats quick. Great add to any kitchen or camper. we had purchased a larger one,more $$ with 2 cooking sides but this one is much better, more even cooking& drains for oil/fat well. It doesnt stick. But we never put these things in dishwasher no matter what the labeling says. The dishwasher WILL degrade the materials to become sticky no matter, but this is easy to clean just as a normal dish with a little soap & water or wipe clean with water. DO NOT PUT in DISHWASHERS. Dishwasher soaps & temps are hard on everything over multiple washings.

Nous avons acheté ce petit grill électrique principalement pour le camping. Il est très compact et s'adapte bien pour les longs repas à deux. Vérifiez correctement la grandeur car sa petite taille pourraient déplaire à certain. Il fonctionne a merveille. Nous dépassons rarement 250-300 degrés pour la cuisson. La plaque se nettoie impeccablement et absolument rien n'y colle. Nous l'avons utilisé a 4 reprises, il demeure comme un neuf. J'ai fabriqué a l'aide de petits 2x4 (voir photo), une sorte de base qui l'élève un peu. (question de l'éloigner de notre nappe de plastique pour camping) Aussi, le grill n'a pas de caoutchouc sur les pattes. Mon système de base règle aussi ce problème. Aussi, le contrôle de chaleur peut devenir un peu chaud au toucher après une longue utilisation. Il faut être vigilant. Somme toute, nous adorons ce produit. Je le recommande fortement.

We bought this to use in our RV since space is always at a premium, but we have been using it in the house as well. The size is perfect for one or two people. It heats up quickly and maintains the heat. Nothing has stuck to the no stick surface so far it works well for eggs, pancakes, hamburgers and vegeburgers. It is light but it has handles so hold on or put it on a less slippery surface. Very pleased with the purchase.
