Presto 07030 Cool Touch Electric Griddle

It's great. We leave it on the countertop all the time so we can have pancakes anytime! I love it. It heats quickly and evenly for perfect pancakes every time. Once you're done, a quick wipedown with a drop of oil and a paper towel keeps it in perfect shape, ready to go for the next time. It's also easy and perfect for fried eggs, French toast, grilled sandwiches, etc. We don't usually cook meat on it because the grease sticks and leaves a weird residue. But it's perfect with vegetable oil. Pro tip: I bought one of those huge silicone grill covers (for an outside grill griddle) and cut it into several pieces that fit the top of this griddle. I leave one on so it doesn't get dirty with dust or flour or anything (since we leave it sitting out all the time). When it gets dirty, I throw another one on and put the dirty one in the dishwasher. It's great to keep it clean in between uses.

Love it ❤️ I cook everything on it including scrambled eggs. It's large enough to cook a full rack of baby back ribs. The heat is distributed evenly and temper changes are fast going from 250° to 400° super fast, better than a pan on a electric stove. Clean-up is also super fast and NORTHING STICKS. I don't regret this purchase and wished I had purchased it years ago.

Even heating, cool touch edges, low profile, large non stick cooking area (20" x 10.5"). My last one lasted over 15 years until I damaged it. The old temperature control works on the new griddle so I have a spare should I need it. I like it that this model has no removable or folding parts to break. I looked at ones with digital temperature displays and covers but I know the temp is what i set it too and basting covers for griddles are cheap and more useful than a cover that covers the whole griddle. Presto is the Best griddle maker and the Cool Touch is reliable, predictable, and easy to use and clean. I am well pleased with this griddle, with Presto, and with Amazon.

This griddle is great! We use it all the time for grilled cheese sandwiches, bacon, brats, and burgers. I love the grease collection cup underneath. It is all really easy to clean with a grease scraper and some dawn dish soap. Super simple to store, and is big enough that I can cook 8 strip of bacon at a time! The only thing I’d have to complain about it is that it seems like one side of the griddle gets a little bit warmer than the other. So items on the side of the control take a little longer to cook. Otherwise this is amazing.

Worked great out of the box. Few months later started to notice hot spots. Temperature may vary from one side to the other. Otherwise works well. Just need to keep an eye while cooking.

I'm a college student - a relatively poor one at that. I bought this baby for around 10 bucks on Black Friday and it's been put to good use ever since. Do note that this is the first time I've ever been happy enough for a product to physically log onto Amazon to write my very first review. It's great, really. No longer shall I have to drag my body to the supermarket and buy that 24 pack of instant Ramen noodles. No longer shall I have to consume orange juice and bologna for breakfast. No longer shall I have to scrape the bottom of that Spam container. No longer shall I have to grab that XXL bag of Doritos for a study snack. Why? Because I'm full - not to the point of button-poppin', belt-unbucklin' bloated, but full. Content. I occasionally make french toast for breakfast or lunch. I just made shrimp tortillas and eggs sunny-side up for dinner. I'm sorry I don't have pictures. I was much too excited to devour my meal. Breakfast for dinner. Greatest-idea-ever. I have not experimented with other stuff such as pancakes and bacon, but I assume that it would work just as good seeing as the french toast came out great. Things don't stick. Cleanup is easy as well: when I finish using it, I simply run it under water a few times, wipe it with a wet paper towel, and then finally wipe it dry. Done. Anyway, this thing is great - for what I paid. This is my first griddle, so I don't have an opinion on higher tier ones. It is a great AFFORDABLE addition to your kitchen and won't break your bank, unless of course you accidentally burn yourself and end up in a hospital - but that's a different story.

It's just me and my husband. This is SO great for breakfast! I make the bacon, shove to one side to keep warm (and crispy), throw on the potatoes, then, in a while, the eggs. This is so much easier than frying pans. Clean up is easy. Scrape all the grease down the little hole, and I just use a damp paper towel to wipe down the top. Save that grease for the dog food! Clean the grease holder with a bit of Dawn, and you're ready for tomorrow's breakfast. I've been experimenting with making my own hash browns from scratch, and this is just ideal for those ambitious mornings. I can cook an entire rasher of bacon (saving some for BLT's). I'm sure there are many other uses for this, but for my part, it does everything I need, cleans easily and is just plain fun to use.

Worked well, no issues. Size stored well. Does 8 medium pancakes easily. heats evenly and quickly. Nice cool edge, grease tray loose fit. Be careful. Bought for pancakes , very happy. If I wanted more at once a larger size would be great, but storage not as easy. This would stand vertically in full cupboard, but not one with upper drawer, lower cabinet. However slides in nicely on edge and fits full depth perfectly. Measure first! Also nice grilled sandwiches. Evenly browned, as were pancakes. Wipes easily. What more could be required?

Love it! Even distribution of heat and size are great. No more hassles flipping eggs, pancakes or crepes. Relatively easy to moderate heat in the cooking process. Cleans easily
