Size: 23"x31". Unframed. This is one of the best historical map for Native American studies. It combines history and geography, facsimile historical maps and new historical maps, and incorporates time and statistics in imaginative map visualizations. The text and maps are based upon information supplied by prominent authorities on the various subjects during 1650. This map is printed on premium 36lb matte paper with fade resistant, premium inks and includes a white border on all sides to allow for matting and framing. This is a reproduction of the 1650 US Map of Indian Tribes and Linguistic Stocks. Review: Very important piece of history to have - As a Copper-Colored Aboriginal of North America I find it very important that our people find as much information on who we are and where we come from. The trans-Atlantic slave trade did not happen the way history books have been telling us. We must do our research, Trace our lineages, and use maps such as these to help us navigate give a better perspective as to who exactly we are according to the birth Origins of our ancestors. For those who are into genealogy, ancestry.com can only take you so far. You have to contact state, county. and city record offices. Find out who you are, where you're from, and look at this map with pride. Review: Is there any more - It seems strange to stop at modern borders when the ancient nations depicted here do not.

It's a DIY Map!
The poster is not as shown in the description. It's printed on a larger sheet of paper and sent to you to "professionally" LOL cut out yourself. Super mad about this fact. It fits in a frame sloppy due to having to cut the map out by hand.

Nice print... sizing listed is confusing
Sizing listed was confusing and unhelpful when trying to buy a frame before it arrived. Itโs hard to find a frame that fits it perfectly without having some extra white paper hanging out on the sides but my husband loves it.
