Worked great. Fitment is precise. Price was on point. Quality is great. Installation is fast. I used this adapter plate on my SE2717HR monitor. You have to force it into the slot, nothing crazy, don't need super strength. Nice and snug fit.

Product arrived early. Excellent sturdy product and works perfectly for my 24" monitor that did not have the built in four screw holes on the back of the monitor. Needed this to fit in the monitor hole for the monitor stand so that I could use my monitor pole stand with arms so I could keep the monitors off of the desk for more desk space and up high at eye level to reduce neck strain. This produce works perfectly. Recommend.

Please ignore all other reviews claiming that this doesn't fit the Dell SE2717H. I have exactly this monitor and almost believed all the reviews from users saying it didn't fit, but everything else said it does. So I took a leap and bought it and YES it fits the Dell SE2717H PERFECTLY. The installation is easy, just remember that in order to remove your DELL STAND, you need to use a screwdriver to push in the release. For all the reviewers saying it doesn't fit the Dell SE2717H, they are WRONG, and it's simply user error. To install is easy, yes it seems smaller than the original dell mount head, but it is a perfect fit, All you have to do is line it up centered, and simply just push it a little hard, you will hear the click and it is locked in place. After that click you can literally pick up the monitor via the mount and wave it around. I don't think you need the stabilizers but I put them on anyway. I'm impressed, it is very stable, looks really good and for the price of under $20 is great value. This thing is a steady as a direct VESA MOUNT. Yes it fits the Dell SE2717H, despite what others have said,

For an after-market adapter on a screen not intended to be used on a mount, I think this does a great job. I used to make my SE2417G a secondary monitor in "portrait" mode on my main machine and it works great. Installing it in the monitor took much more force than I expected but I have no concerns about it slipping out. Installing it on my monitor arm was also very simple; I was worried that the included screws would scratch up the back of the monitor, but now that it's installed there's plenty of space yet. The "cable management" openings don't allow for much space and turning cords within the bracket can be incredibly awkward, but they work and I only see them as a minor bonus rather than a core purpose of the adapter. One other issue is that the position of the VESA mount causes it to "lean" when in portrait mode. I attribute this more to my monitor arms than the adapter (I don't have a way to tighten/limit turning), but the adapter's design means the monitor mounts rather low on the screen and if it was more centered this may not be an issue. I'm quite satisfied with this, grumbling and all, and do recommend it.

While I would wish these brackets were made out of thicker material that would not flex as much when adjusting the angle of the monitor, it will never be as good as if the monitors had VESA mounts. That being said, these brackets do work quite well for my Dell SE2717HR monitors. They do not seem to lock in place as the stands that came with the monitor do, so I am not sure if I would trust these in a Portrait mode setting. Also, since there is flex in the bracket, I may take a nylon nut and put on the end of the screw that attaches through the VESA bracket on the support arm I am using to keep from scratching/damaging the monitor itself. To improve the fit, you could probably take the upper arms of some of the other VESA mount adapters and run off the top to screws to provide some downward force on to the tabs that go into the monitor. I'm not sure how tight the fit could be made though, so I personally will just make sure my next monitors have VESA mounts.

Worked on our monitors at work. It does push the monitor out a bit but it's better than using the stand.

For some reason Dell doesn't include standard VESA mounting brackets on some of their monitors, but this was fantastic for solving that problem. I have mine mounted sideways next to a really big primary display and this mount feels very sturdy and will last a long time!

Before purchasing, I verified that this would be compatible with my monitor, and it was. This worked perfectly with my monitor.

This product is heavy duty and easy to install. I used this to make my monitors compatible with a dual desk monitor holder - it’s been great having two screens. I think they are over spec though, and I would have chosen a cheaper option if it were available. On the plus side, these will last long past my expiry date!
