Works great. good quality and light weight. Doesn't side at all, holds the laptop without being in the way. The angle is just right. Great value.

I'm impressed with its size and strength, even I'm using it with a 14" ultrabook. No assembly required. Holds my laptop extremely well. Sort of disappears because of the powdercoated black and it holds it a just the right height.

I have two of these, one at home and one at work. They are superior to other laptop stands. Of course it’s not super high like some other ones but this stand is also portable which is a huge huge plus especially for traveling for work.

The laptop stand works great for my needs. I use it for a 15.4” laptop, which works, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything larger. My only issue is that the hinge is free-floating. It would be better if it stayed in place until I moved it. It’s well made, of solid metal, so it has some heft to it, but it’s small, and travels well.

This was just what my new Apple Neo MacBook needed. It's solid and just the right angle and size for the keyboard. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this! I use it for my Rodecaster pro two. It lifts the back up off the table so I can see it well when I'm recording. It's got rubberized backing on it so that it doesn't slip on the desk, but you're still able to move it if you need to. The Rodecaster fits on it perfectly You can't really see it when it's under the broadcaster, it's black so it blends right in which I like. Totally saves space which is very helpful, and it folds flat when I'm not using it.

Easy to carry with a solid frame as a travel accessory. Has some weight to it but that is to be expected since the frame is strong for its size. Works well on flat surfaces like a table or a desk. Not suitable for portable use such as your lap or arm chair.

I bought this for my new 2021 MacBook Pro 14inch. I had seen something similar recommended on a YouTube video, and when I saw Amazon Basics produce one, I thought I'd give it a go as I already have their phone stand and think it is a simple but fab bit of kit. This laptop stand is perfect for the size and weight of my laptop. It folds down very compact, so travelling with is would be a breeze. What this stand does: raises the angle of the keyboard, making it more comfortable to type on for long periods, and as it tilts the laptop the screen sits out 2 inches higher (not much, but it depends on what your needs are). It also creates space under the laptop to allow for ventilation. What this stand doesn't do: It does not raise the height of the laptop screen significantly, so if this is something you were looking for, a differently stand is probably a better bet for you. Im really happy with the quality. The stand doesn't move around when in use, and for the money I think it is fab!

I purchased this laptop stand after previously trying out another style of laptop stand from a different company. I quickly realized that it wasn't what i was looking for and didn't meet my needs as it was too bulky heavy and most importantly even when folded up it was still rather large to fit in my laptop sleeve pouch so i decided to have another look on Amazon and found this Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Laptop Support Stand for Laptops up to 15 Inches It looked a lot more promising for my needs which i was looking for a slim laptop stand that can fit it my laptop sleeve along with my laptop and to use with my 15.6 inch gaming laptop in the bed so i can comfortably game in bed without having to worry about my laptop overheating due to insufficient ventilation. I ordered it same day delivery via prime and it was delivered exactly at 8PM the following day and i used it with my gaming laptop all throughout the following night so i got a good chance to test it and share all of the pros and cons I've found out about it. Keep in mind these are only my personal opinions and your opinion may vary from different needs. First off, the build quality is really good and as advertised, the whole stand is indeed made of aluminum unlike the previous laptop stand i had mentioned getting which had like a wooden or particle board frame in the middle sandwiched by a thin aluminum top and bottom layer (which can be seen in the pictures I've attached to this review) which is an interesting build choice, but i would definitely rather this. The stand has anti-slip rubber feet and pads all over the stand from the top and bottom to prevent scratches to the laptop and hold the laptop and the stand in place. My only complaint about the build quality and actually my only complaint about the whole stand is the small metal pins that hold the foldable pivoting arm in the back together to the stand. They can come out if you try to take them out and it's very possible they may accidentally pop out if you don't check them and make sure they are properly in place and not coming out a little i might just eventually super glue my pins in place to make them permanent and hopefully never encounter this issue but i just thought I'd mention it because they could become loose over time due to vibration or during shipment and if not checked it's possible they can potentially pop out and get lost. But it is a minor problem and still isn't going to prevent me from giving this stand 5 stars as it was exactly what i was looking for especially because it's easily permanently fixable with some glue. Other than that, it's a great stand. Solid build quality, reasonable price and fulfilled it's functions in what i was looking for in a laptop stand that the previous one didn't which was slim size and portability while still offering great ventilation for my laptop even when using it in the bed and my laptop runs a lot cooler when it is elevated due to the intake being able to pull in fresh air and not getting obstructed. My favorite part is the form factor and compactness of this stand and how it can fit in my laptop sleeve along with my laptop. And as i previously mentioned, i don't have to worry about it scratching my laptop because the stand has anti-slip rubber feet and pads all over the top & bottom. So my final verdict is that i can definitely & confidently recommend the Amazon Basics Aluminum Portable Foldable Laptop Stand for Laptops up to 15 Inches. It was able to hold my 15.6 inch gaming laptop just fine and it's now my new favorite slim laptop stand i own.
