The instructions on the bag say to microwave for 2 minutes after boiling water soak for 3 minutes. how to do this if no microwave, please?

Place pot with a cover on a hot plate or electric burner. Take of the cover, pour into pot 1 1/4 cups water or broth. Add a little salt if you are not using broth. Add a little butter or olive oil. Turn on heat. Bring water or broth to a boil and gently stir in 1 cup of couscous. Cover the pot. Turn off burner and remove pot from the burner. Allow to sit for 5 - 7 minutes. Take cover off pot. Couscous will have a dry, congealed, lumpy texture. Fluff up with a fork, getting rid of all the lumps. You can also try this with a rice cooker.

What are the health benefits?

Hi :-) So, I had really high hopes for this couscous, but sadly, when it arrived it was broken open and smelled rancid!! I didn't take notice to health benefits from this particular brand, but you can always google health benefits of couscous. I am so sorry I couldn't answer your question. Stay safe and well :-)

Do you know that all couscous can be steamed for hours to fluffy perfection or mixed with hot water to make 5 minute mush?

You can do the hot water but it’s much much better steamed like the North Africans do. Love the Dari!!! Beautiful grain
