James and the Giant Peach: The Scented Peach Edition

Was for a school reading assignment. the book was good quality and the smell was a nice touch.

Still a really great story that my elementary school kids enjoy. This was my 2nd favorite Dahl book after Charlie and the Chocolate Factory growing up.

Good book to read with 6/7 yr old

My daughter was in a book club where they read this book and my daughter absolutely loved it! She also thought it was amazing that it smelled like peach when you scratched the cover!

This is a great story for all ages. I bought this book for two reasons.One: So, I can share this wonderful story with my great nephew's when they come visit.Two: Believe it or not its one of the Titles on the List of Banned Books. Which is utterly ridiculous and stupid.

The book is scented peach! Not very loud but subtle and noticeable. Truthfully, the price move my purchase over the scent. I consider it an added bonus. The book came in great condition, very appreciative about that. I can recall the movie James and the Giant Peach. Sometimes reading the book has its own perks. Thanks Again!

The media could not be loaded. I'm reading this book with my 10 year old. We actually bought 2, so he can follow along. He and I both love the story line. Would definitely recommend for a family read aloud book.

Bought this book for my daughter's book collection. She is only 5 months old, but this was the best price, so I bought the scented edition. It came exactly as I anticipated, with a light, sweet peach smell. I saw other reviews complaining that the smell was not strong enough, but I assumed it would be on the cover only and light. I was correct in this assumption. Very happy with this book, would be fun for a young reader or an older reader revisiting an old favorite.
