Got this after my Hamilton beach steamer after it stopped working. This works great and the mechanical timer seems to be a lot more reliable than the digital controls on the Hamilton steamer. I've tried it with chicken, veggies and eggs. All came out good. Cleans easy and simple. Good steamer.

I've purchased steamers over the years, always something goes wrong with them. This one I've used at least 4 times a week for some time now. Keeps on working great and the timer is spot on everytime. Great looking steamer, size fits all uses, very durable and cleans right up. Very light weight and stores easily.

I purchased this steamer after our old vegetable steamer finally bit the dust. My wife and I didn't need more than a single-tier steamer, but I could not find one anymore, so I purchased this two-tier steamer. The steamer is big and has plenty of room for steaming pretty much anything you like. We use it mainly to steam cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots. It's easy to clean and operate. My only complaint with this steamer is the built-in timer. The timer dial cannot be dialed back if you accidentally turn it beyond your desired time. So, if you do so, the timer cannot be adjusted, and you will have to mentally keep track of when to take out the food while the timer continues to run its course for whatever the set time was. It's annoying, especially if you're used to a timer that was specifically designed to be turned past the desired time and then turned back to it like our old steamer was. Also, the numbers on the timer are very small and difficult to read. Overall, if you're cautious with the timer, this is a very good steamer at a very reasonable price. If it lasts as long as our prior steamer did, it should last a very long time.

Bought this for our daughter, she loves it. Can steam a lot of vegetables and has the rice steamer tray that works fantastic. Perfect size especially for a big family who loves steamed vegetables and the price is right dor what your getting.

It works very well for light cooking. I suffer from Crohn's disease. I use it exclusively for steaming fish filets. Primarily 6 to 8oz portions of grouper, snapper, cod and salmon. It works wonderfully, cooking perfectly in about 8 to 10 minutes using the steaming tray. And easy to clean, I love it.

Love this steamer. This is the 3rd steamer I have purchased. The plastic cooker cracked due to so many uses and couldn't find a replacement so had to purchase the entire steamer again. But the good thing is now I have replacement parts. Also purchased one for my father in law who uses it every day and LOVES IT! He cooks just for himself so he loves that he can toss everything in at once and has helped him eat healthy. We have cooked eggs, vegetables, garlic, fish. Everything turns out perfect! Easy to clean.
