This is the calculator that is required for the GED test. I bought this specifically for my daughter who is taking the GED and needs only this specific calculator. The calculator itself works perfectly, is solar powered. No batteries . Absolutely no complaints. If you are reading this & taking the test, buy the calculator! The first five questions you cannot have a calculator. So long as you know how to use THIS calculator, you will pass the test. The protective sleeve it comes with, which is plastic and is on the back of it is perfect and lightweight. The color is perfect. The buttons are great. Responsive and no problems. It is extremely accurate and gives the correct answer each time.

This was the calculator recommended by my Amateur Extra class. It's a TI calculator. You can't go wrong. It works great. I love the feel of the keys and the design of the calculator.

Last year I had to purchase my daughter a scientific calculator for school. It was the $99 version of this and I figured since it was such a super duper version it had everything and she would be better off. Wrong! This year she comes home and says she needs this specific calculator because the other one has some abilities they cannot use in class. Geese, in this economy I don’t understand why the school isn’t providing them, but that’s me be cranky. Nonetheless, this was an affordable price so I bought it. It’s a sleek design, and like the other one much too sophisticated for my knowledge. I am not smarter than a 5th grader to use it. Luckily my daughter is. She’s happy with the display size as some other are too small, but this is perfect for her and it has all the functionalities she needs to use in her jumpstart college/hs class. She’s a senior so this covers her class and requirements perfect. It has perfect math ability and portability.

Bought this for trigonometry, but it’s my favorite for use in algebra and geometry as well. I find it really helpful to look up a quick tutorial or introduction video on YouTube so you can really reap the full benefits whether it’s inputting variable values or interchanging between fraction format and decimal format. I also love the interface. It doesn’t look all blocky and clunky like the large TI 84 graphing calculators. It’s very slick and seamless and your input equations are laid out so clearly and so intuitively. I like that it has a case, although I wish that the case covered it a little better but so far does seem durable. The use of green colored font was clever in determining whether using a primary or a secondary function of a button. So far it works well the outputs are quick and prompt and I’m very happy with my purchase. Highly recommend.
