Xtenzi Car Radio Wire Harness Compatible with Kenwood CD DVD Navigation in-Dash - XT91016

Good quality harness. Fit my stereo fine. I did have three extra wires but I’d assume those are for nav and other things my Kenwood doesn’t have. I used butt connectors to join this harness to my factory one. Stereo works just fine. Will update in a couple of months.

The plastic piece was a snug fit compared to the Kenwood factory harness. All of the wires are marked and match up to the original harness colors. Generous wire length and constructed well. No issues, works perfectly, and seems like it will hold up well.

It is what was ordered....however, there was a wiring harness in the Stereo I purchased, so it wasn't used. I now have a spare. But what I didn't have was a harness that plugged into my existing wiring. I purchased one online and soldered the two harnesses together. There was a diagram and the wires are marked, so it was really easy. All I needed was heat shrink, which I put on before I soldered. I slid the heat shrink up over the soldered connections after they cooled (don't do it too soon or the heat shrink will shrink up mid way). I was then able to plug my new harness directly into my van's wiring and the other end directly into the stereo. I purchased the soldering iron at Radio Shack for $10. I got the heat shrink there also. Make sure you get solder with flux core so it sticks easy. You can watch a video on Google that will show you how to solder wires together if you need to.

Ended up working for my needs but one issue I had was the front and rear outputs were reversed meaning I had to wire the rear speaker wire to the front speaker wire and the front wire to the rear to fade front to rear properly, however I won’t blame the product or seller as when I ordered it I did not see in the title it said dvd units I just saw kenwood and ordered it as once installing and I found out it had a unmarked sky blue wire than none of my single din kenwoods harnesses ever had that when I realized it might not be right. However that was the only issue power, acc, power ant, amp (+), illumination were all correct. So I guess I’d give it a 5 star as I got working music.

Ordered this wiring harness for older kenwood stereo,it fit,it works,and happy overall. Only suggestion should have come with big paper label telling you which color wires are for what. It has what each wire is, printed on wires,but print is so tiny,so that you need superman vision to read it.

A good solid Molex 16 head, what can I say. The plastic insulation at the tips of the wire has a tiny bit of plastic trimmed off at about the half inch mark from the end, making it easy to pull off and have clean wire for soldering or tapping into a friction device you might be using.

Product was just as advertised, worked perfectly easy to install with clean post factory cuts on all wires. Used this on my 1991 cb7 for a Kenwood excelon and blended into the factory wire harness very happy with the purchase and saved a lot on install as well as harnessing.

Works as described, didnt have the opportunity to use every pin on the connector such as the rear view camera but id assume it would work fine like the rest of the plug. colour-coded Wiring diagram came on the packing. Fit my kenwood touchscreen double din head unit
