28581 Bit Holder Adapter For 1/4-Inch Drive Bits

This is absolutely a must-have item for use with the Wiha TorqueVario-S or TorqueFix torque driver handles. It allows the use of standard 1/4" drive bits (like those in the "Wiha 79495 31-Piece Bit Set" or pretty much any removable screwdriver bits you might already have). The Wiha torque handles include only a 4-mm micro bit holder... and if you're like me, you probably don't have a lot of micro bits. Hence, my claim this is a must-have item. The adapter itself is a typical Wiha high quality item. Personally, I own two of these (for two TorqueVario-S handles) and have NOT experienced the overly strong bit retention spring or rattling problems mentioned in other reviews.

This tool is great. Holds my other screw driver tips nicely with the torque screw driver. Now i can open and close hardware with the right amount of torque settings. I recommend this for all electronics technicians especially people in the field of computer maintenance.

This adapter is really needed to have the torque screwdriver be really useful, especially considering that in the USA, 1/4" bits are more readily available than the 4mm bits. It is too bad this adapter does not come standard with the TorqueVario-S Torque Screwdriver. The quality of this 1/4" bit holder is exactly the same as the 4mm bit holder that comes standard with the TorqueVario-S Torque Screwdriver. So far it works as expected. After spending the $$$ money for the TorqueVario-S Torque Screwdriver, you might as well purchase this also, as sooner or later you will be glad you did.

Incorrect product description. Does not fit insulated handle so now I have the hassle of returning it and trying to find the correct one.

Not for insulated torque driver! Amazon listing does not mention this, at least they didn't when I purchased it.

These an excellent magnetic bit adapters for Wiha torque drivers. They have a tight fit, and are the perfect size for most applications. We’re required to use these on the job for electrical equipment. I highly recommend them.

Purchased this to replace the one stolen with my service toolbox. Wiha is quality, worked great so why change it.

If you have purchased or are looking to purchase one of the torquevario drivers you need this adapter for 1/4" bits... Good quality. Not magnetic but locks the bit in place. not overly difficult to remove the bits either.
