TFY Pad 4/3 / 2 Car Headrest Mount Holder–Fast-Attach Fast-Release Edition - Black

We've been looking for quite some time for a solution to mount our iPads in the car. Our headrest poles are not straight up and down - they are bent at a 90 degree angle to allow the headrest to move towards the driver/passenger head for better comfort and positioning. The poles also retract up and down automatically when the seat is moved forward/back to adjust to increase in driver/passenger height.Because of the design, a headrest pole mount would be too low (and right at feet-kicking range), and in my opinion, too close to the kids' faces. Maybe the distance would be ok if you have an iPad mini, but for us, the 9.7" iPad just seemed way to close if it's attached to the seat back rather then the headrest which is further away. A pole mounted iPad might also impede getting in and out without the iPad constantly getting bumped.In any case, the velcro band is very well constructed and matches the black leather beautifully and you would not notice it at all. It is thin and perfectly smooth, and the driver/passenger would not feel it at all when resting their heads. We also have contoured headrests (slightly curved for the head in the center) and the band molds perfectly around them - there is no extra gap or air at all.We wanted something that didn't have ugly arms, and a way to remove the iPads during a pit stop to avoid theft. This product accomplishes that easily. Just grab the iPad and go. It is so easy.The supplied case w/ the velcro for the iPad itself is a soft plastic material with a large X shape patch of velcro sewn into it. I actually like the design - it's thin and the "border"/lip around the front of the iPad is very minimal. When the iPad is attached to the headrest, it sits flush to the headrest, looks completely natural -- and the whole set up honestly looks better that many of the factory DVD solutions out there. Not to mention the screen is bigger and the retina display resolution beat anything a car maker would sell you for $2000.For the price, I think you will not find a better solution out there if you are trying to accomplish some of the same things. Easy on/off, less "permanent" than headrest pole designs, not crazy looking arms and attachments, etc. I might add that we do not regularly have iPads in our car, and we only plan on using this on road trips. Removing the headrest band is done in about 2 seconds, and putting it back on is maybe 5-10 seconds. So we will only be placing the band on when we need it!

Worked fine for the road trip. The case with the velcro is not well formed and doesn't fit perfectly on the iPad and came off a couple times. The velcro concept works well, I just wish I would have bought the version of this with the bulkier case.

We bought this for our 2yo to watch the iPad on our road trip to Colorado, it held all of our iPads (different generations) all while still in their cases! The velcro was strong and didn't effect the headrest much at all!

Returned item. Doesn't secure properly. iPad moves around and feel off the mount. The strap stood secure to the headrest but the mount itself is poor quality. In addition to that, once mounted I could not access the headphone input. I would have to pop off the corner where the input was at.Pass this one up.Tried on my 2015 Honda Odyessy.

It's a bit difficult to get Ln but does the job wonderfully

It does fit well on my headrest and keeps my 17 month old entertained and quiet!! LOL but yet...it is not as easy to get on a off as I thought..the case barely fits on my iPAD 3..Its about 7 degrees currently in NY and I can not leave it in my car attached to the headrest until warmer weather comes. That being said it works great but not easily taken on/off. The velcro somehow got attached to the wrong spot and the thread is had gotten ripped out.

Bought this for car rides and trips with our son. We had an older iPad and this fits it perfectly. It comes with 2 pieces- a velcro strap to attach to the headrest and a case with felt to attach to. Love that you can detach and move from car to car. Also can be used for front or rear headrest so perfect for older and younger kids who are still rear facing. Apologies for the pictures could not get a good one without the sun glaring on it but as you can see you can adjust it to how you like. Definitely reccomend!
