Excellent quality. Does take some time to clean but worth it. Happy with purchase.

These make an excellent upgrade for the Cosmogrill. They are solid and well made and arrived well packaged. I washed and dried mine, covered them with a light coat of lard and put them on the grill to heat up hot. They leave lovely sear marks on food and I've not had any food stick to them as I seasoned them. Clean up is quick and easy with a stiff brush. I would definitely recommend these if you want to up your BBQ game.

Welded the 2 pieces together to fit my BBQ. Find that the meat does stick but maybe over time and use it will improve.

Out of the box/packaging, the grates are impressively heavy and feel unbreakable, however, upon only the 2nd use there was a loud 'pop'/'bang'. It was only when I went to clean it a couple days later that I noticed the clean fracture on a perimeter section of one grate. It is still usable and grills much better than the horrid grates that came as standard with the BBQ, however those grates still look new. These cast iron grates should stay intact for a lifetime. Likely a rare manufacturing defect, but it is what it is.
