OXO Good Grips Extendable Microfiber Duster

This is a fantastic product which is far superior to catching dust compared to Swiffer. I purchased all of the variations of these dusters and am 100% satisfied. No more high priced duster replacements. Washing them is a breeze.

This microfiber duster is fantastic and reaches all the hard to reach areas. I love adjusting it side to side as well as extendable options!

This is a pretty good stick duster. I like that the pad is washable. It picks up loose dust pretty well and you can use the duster quite a while before having to wash the pad. Shake it out and you can keep going. The retractable handle is sturdy and reaches out far enough to get cobwebs and dust in ceiling corners. My one real complaint is that the pad can leave red fuzz on rougher surfaces fairly easily. If you are doing baseboards or ceiling corners on a rough ceiling, you can often see little red hairs stuck to the surface. It's not a huge deal but it keeps me from a 5-star rating. I'm still happy with the purchase.

We own a few similar microfiber dusting devices on long poles so I was a bit skeptical when this was recommended on a TikTok video by a professional cleaner, but I’m a believer now. This thing is great! I don’t know what makes it grab so much better but it really grabs and locks the dust. I was able to dust my walls, ledges and high areas/artwork, after some house remodeling and it worked amazingly well. My only suggestion would be to offer two sizes. It would have been good to have one with a head that is twice this size to cover more surface area with one pass. I also wish there was one with a telescopic handle that was longer so I could reach my high ceilings easier. But even without these options, I would buy this again in a heartbeat. It’s that good.

The product is fine, as advertised. However, it arrived dirty, with sticks and discoloration on it. It will have to be cleaned before use. Not wrapped, just a label slapped on the plastic that covered the duster piece. I don't know if it was in the bottom of someone's car or in a dirty warehouse, but not acceptable.

It would be an even happier home if I wasn't the one who had to do all the dusting, but since I do, this product has made the task a lot easier and go much quicker. Things I like: It's easy to extend to reach those high places like the top of this Armoire in the photo. It's also great for getting behind the sofa to dust the baseboards. I like that it collapses and folds down quickly for storage. And, as you can see from the photo, it picks up the dust pretty well. I wish I had discovered this Microfiber Duster a long time ago. What I don't care for: Although it adjusts to different angles, sometimes, I just can't get the right one and wish there was one more "notch". But it's no biggie and definitely not worth docking any stars. The only other complaint I have is the joint (the part where the duster bends) is a wee bit too big so it prevents me from being able to get behind some really big and too heavy to move pieces of furniture. I love this product so much so, that even that doesn't warrant a star docking. I'm really quite pleased with this product and purchase. I have purchased 2 other Oxo dusters, and the rack to hang them all on. I LOVE the entire system. I don't dread cleaning anymore! (well almost lol)

I bought this product because I saw it in my local hardware store and figured it would save my back from spasms when I try to dust high or low places. Well, I was right. It works beautifully and Amazon price was cheaper. Some reviews say extender doesn’t hold. You have to turn the orange piece to lock it in place after you extend it. Also, don’t force bend it. Push the black lever near the head to change degree angle. Sturdy item. Easy to hand wash microfiber head in cold water and air dry. Very pleased. Shoulda bought this years ago.

July 2013: The microfiber head really picks up dust well. I'm especially happy with how clean it leaves the plastic casing on my plasma TV and computer monitors. I used to waste so much time trying to dust because Whiffers, paper towels and rags all leave as much dust as they pick up. Dusting is now faster and cleaner. The dust stays on the head until shaken clean (I rap it against the metal bars on my porch and I can actually see bursts of dust shake out). The major downside is that the joint that allows the head to bend at an angle is way too bulky. The hard plastic joint area is totally exposed, even when not bent. There is nothing to protect surfaces from getting scratched or damaged (I must be ultra-careful cleaning my TV screen, for example). I took two stars away for this extra-poor design. If you look at the pictures of this OXO duster carefully, you can clearly see what I mean. November 5, 2014: After inadvertently breaking the handle, I purchased another OXO Good-Grips microfiber duster a couple of weeks ago. What a disappointment. The duster is now thinner and narrower than the one I had purchased in July 2013. It also does not pick up dust well. This new version puts most of the dust back onto the furniture. It sheds a lot more than the one I purchased last year, leaving a trail of orange fiber wherever I walk. Fortunately, I still have my earlier duster, so I was able to salvage this purchase by replacing the useless duster with my old one, which after 15 months of continuous use still picks up dust like a champ. I do not recommend this new version of the OXO Good-Grips Microfiber Extendable Duster. Perhaps some other reviewer can recommend a better product. Better still, perhaps the manufacturer will salvage its brand by offering a better quality product.

Used for the top edges of kitchen counters under low beds and hard to reach places. This has a brilliant extendable handle and the microfibre head is easy to hoover off or wash. The head can also turn in different directions backwards and forwards for those tricky angles. The duster is also soft and picks up and retains the dust, which is very important as we have someone with a dust mite allergy in the house. Have been using it for about 4 months now and so far so good. I would definitely buy another when needed, so don't hesitate if you need a long handled flat duster. It would be great if it came with a spare duster head so one could be washed whilst other is in use. But that's just a nice extra to have.

Better than another duster I bought on here that broke in no time. This one is durable, useful, and you can wash the head. As a house cleaner I find it very useful

It is not that fluffy in 360 degree… bit flat. But the handle is super sturdy and the microfiber is good quality. I will definitely repurchase a refill later this year

I love it! It reaches all the hard places with ease. Dusting the ceiling fan and the tops of cupboards is now a breeze. It grips the dust so you don't get dust flying everywhere. I've watched it twice now and it comes up well. There is a bit of tangle with cobwebs but nothing that affects its performance. Its made all the hard out of reach jobs very easy now.
