Are these hard cover?

NO, not like the old Mead composition books. I used to use them for phone logs because the cover would support the book on my lap, and there was no need for a table or desk. Was hoping these had those stiff covers. They do not, and can be bent easily with two fingers. The covers are approximately 20% as thick as the former ones.

Regular size composition (like the black and white marbled) book. Very nice quality.

What weight is the paper?

I don’t recall if it said in description or on packaging…but believe it was college rule
