These work great for whiteflies. I'll place them in my grow tent and within a couple hours you can see a collection of flies forming. By 24 hours is covered.

They work. Plain and simple. But be aware that if wind blows one of these down and a bird is unfortunate enough to land on it? They can't get off!! A poor bird landed on mine and he was stuck for who knows how long!! He tore his tail feathers off trying to get off and they bled, I got him off easy enough, managed to unruffle his wing feathers good enough and he was able to fly away but I was horrified by his pain and anguish. I still feel terrible that I was unaware these are sticky enough to trap a bird. I had secured one to a feed a cage with the twist ties but when the blew it twisted the board around so many times it broke away and landed on the grass under my bird feeder. I will secure these differently from now on because the are a danger to small animals. That was certainly the last thing I expected to see. Update, I finally used my big block bird feeder box to hang these safely where they lose no danger to the birds or other small wildlife. They can't blow down now! We had 70 mile an hour winds yesterday. That's unusual, the normal storm winds blew them off the ties last time. It was heartbreaking to see that little bird stuck on these, I couldn't risk that again. These work!

Very good at attracting whiteflies and other insects. I did not receive the twist ties with my order, however I had enough bread ties to make them work. Very sticky and easily rips leaves on the plant if you aren't careful. Good product and I am placing a second order to have on hand. Good price for product as compared to other makers. Thank you!

I have an infestation of fungus gnats in my indoor lemon tree pot. My entomologist daughter told me I didn't need to worry about my plants, but they are bothersome to me and spreading, so I looked for some non-chemical remedy, and found these. They only catch the adults and not all of them, but every adult caught is hundreds of babies not made. The sheets are easy to use, do not smell and are safe to touch, just sticky. The little bugs seem to fly right in. I just change them periodically. I am also using mosquito dunks in the water I use to water which uses bacteria to kill them in the soil. Apparently, it takes some time to actually get rid of them, but they are not harmful, just bothersome, and this is pretty easy and inexpensive. So far I am happy. I have a lot less tiny bugs at my dinner table, and that makes me happy.

Can easily cut into smaller strips!

I have pretty mixed feelings on this product so far. I mainly purchased them for thrips, which have been destroying my poor monstera minima! I also have plants in a bedroom that have had gnats. The gnats are more of an annoyance than a pest as they haven’t seemed to affect any of my plants’ health so far. Unfortunately for my monstera and other living room plants, the traps have caught very little, if anything. However, they have been wildly successful for the gnats in the bedroom, they even caught a whole fly! I put up both yellow and blue traps to see what would be more effective and the yellow seems to be working better, although I also put more of the yellow out too. In terms of ease of use, I was hoping I’d just be able to stick them directly to my planters/pots, but quickly found they were falling off, so I secured them with some small binder clips instead. They are not as sticky as the blue traps I bought, which are coated in a thick gelatinous glue that you can see with you eyes. These are more of a sticker and are easier to work with since the glue isn’t as strong or plentiful. But they still work to catch bugs, so that’s all that matters! Mine came with a couple holders for the sheets, which worked out okay, except it’s pretty hard to get the traps into them since they’re sticky, and once they are in, the traps tend to fold over on themselves if they’re put the long way in. These are the first traps of this kind I’ve gotten, so I can’t compare them to other brands. In my experience, they work well enough for gnats but not at all for thrips. I’ll have to keep spraying my monstera down for now.

I just received this item and set up half of them in different places. There are only two sticks for placing horizontally. Plastic ties are provided for the rest. It’s hard to hold the strips without touching the glue, which removes some of it. If there were an area without the glue for holding the strips, it would make it easier.

These are AMAZINGLY sticky, and I have no doubt they will work as advertised...However, when I saw how sticky they were I had a horrible thought. We live in Florida, and have loads of lizards and frogs all over the place. What if one of them got stuck to the paper? In less the one hour a lizard was stuck, even though I hung the sheet from a branch, away from any walls. My daughter was able to safely free him, but that was traumatic for me and the lizard! I'm going to hang onto these, and maybe use them inside? But be warned, if you live in a similar place, small creatures can and will need to be rescued!!
