Had this cord for years with no issues. Great quality. Failed about 5 years in which I consider great for a charging cord. Fit great and cord length was perfect for what I needed. Most phones are type-C now, but if you need an older model cord this one is good.

I will admit, I was skeptical about ordering this cable, considering its low price. I've always bought on theory that "you get what you pay for". Not this time! The cable works perfect and seems to charge my phone faster than the original cable. Since they were so inexpensive, I ordered one for home and one for work, late Friday. Was given a delivery date of Tuesday. It was in my mailbox that Monday. I am only three days in, if product quality suddenly changes/malfunctions, I will update and revise my review if necessary. 30- DAY UPDATE: ONE COMPLETELY INTACT CHARGER DECIDED TO STOP FUNCTIONING. JUST SPEND THE MONEY ON A FACTORY CABLE.

I don't normally take the time to leave reviews on products I purchase here but am making an exception in this case. I bought two of these cables for my Galaxy S5. The first one worked fine and the second one was defective. My laptop would not recognize my phone and Windows informed me the last USB I plugged into the device was malfunctioning. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement cable. It arrived in faster time than my original order took that was placed through Amazon! All they asked was that I return the defective cable so that they could test it and the defective cable was mailed to them today. Both cables work flawlessly! So I am giving a big "Thumbs Up!" to the seller! Don't know why some reviewers say this will not work with the Galaxy S5. It most certainly does work with the S5. The cable is a tight fit, as is the OEM cable that I received with my phone. I notice that you almost have to be perfectly aligned with any cable you use on the Galaxy S5 and have to insert it straight in and not at an angle. It is not as forgiving as the mini cables on other phones. Hope this review helps those of you who may be undecided. I recommend these cables and I highly recommend this seller!

I bought this cable because the USB cable I had from my previous phone didn't charge the Samsung S5 phone as fast as my AC adapter that had the 3.0 USB plug. ****NOTE**** When I first used this cable with my phone, I noticed that my battery was actually losing power instead of charging and was ready to call this cable a knockoff. If you have this problem, what you have to do is reset the phone while it is plugged into a computer with the USB cable. When I did this, then I noticed that my phone was charging nearly at the same pace as if I had plugged it into an ac adapter. Data transfer speeds from computer to my phone are also very quick. *****END NOTE**** Overall, I would highly recommend these cables to anyone with a phone or tablet that drains battery life rather quickly (ie any of the new Samsung products).
