Works great with a snug fit.
Ordered the Pearce Grips, Grip Extensions for my Taurus PT709 7 round magazine (stated to also fit also fits PT740). Received the extensions in two day by USPS (We are Prime Members). It was a tight fit in the groves with my magazine, but just take your time and it will slide on snuggly. You do not want a loose fit anyway. Originally ordered 1 to check it out, but the extension felt so good in the hand when the magazine was in the PT709 that I just ordered another one for my second magazine. This gives that little extra for the lower small finger to rest instead of hanging in limbo and adds additional grip support to control the PT709 during firing. If you have extremely large hands, you may want to go with a longer extension, but I carry this concealed and did not want the longer extension to pultrude trough the clothing concealing the weapon. Update 8/11/2017: OUTBAGS LOB2P-709 Brown Genuine Leather OWB Open Carry Pancake, Side Carry Belt Holster for Taurus PT709 Slim 9mm The holster is outstanding as the Taurus PT709 Slim fits in it snuggly and is not a loose fitting. The form of the holster was made exactly to form to the PT709. It is still slim enough to still conceal under a loosely fit shirt not tucked in. It is comfortable to wear on my right OWB hip. The material is finely made of brown leather with great stitching. The PT709 mounts in the holster with a great fit and the barrel does not extend out the bottom opening. You can wear this with a slim and wide belt as you desire. They sell this holster in a right hand and left hand models on amazon at $31.99. Great price for a quality product you will love and comfortable to wear. Pearce Grips, Grip Extensions, for Taurus PT709 and PT 740, $9.49 each. Also received my second Pearce Grip Extension for my Taurus PT709 and also seen in the pictures with the (OUTBAGS LOB2P-709 Brown Genuine Leather OWB Open Carry Pancake, Side Carry Belt Holster for Taurus PT709 Slim 9mm) from Amazon. The Grip Extension fits good and snug like the other I previously ordered and was easy to put on the 7 round magazine. Fits great in the Taurus PT709 magazine opening and is also a snug fit.

A Cautionary Note for Concealed Carriers; plus, How to Install Pearce Grip Extension on Springfield XDs Magazines
Update March 20, 2014: I have since removed the Pearce Grip Extensions from my XDs mags because when concealed carrying in my Crossbreed IWB appendix holster, the horn of the grip extension sticks out and prints under my cover garment. If the added grip length doesn't print in your concealed carry rig, then carry the XDs extended mags that give you two additional rounds for your trouble, as well as additional grip length. The Springfield XDs in 9mm is a real shooter and a fabulous carry gun, but it takes some getting used to due to its small size. With additional range practice, I was able to take the grip extension "training wheels" off my carry weapon and enjoy significantly better concealment. Review January 7, 2014: How to Install Pearce Grip Extension on Springfield XDs Magazines The extension fits my 9mm XDs perfectly and works very well. However, the installation is a little tricky, and no pictures are given in the Pearce instructions or Pearce website. There is a good Youtube dot com video demonstrating the procedure: search for "Pearce Grip Extension: Springfield XDs". Below are my instructions; before you start, study the exploded view of the mag in your XDs operation manual on page 31 (9mm) or page 34 (0.45ACP). To start, put on your safety glasses to protect your eyes in case the spring flies out. Grip the mag in your right hand with curved side to the left and the mag base plate facing up with your right thumb over it. Use a punch or Q-tip stick with the cotton cut off to depress the 5mm circular button in the center of the stock mag base. With the button depressed, slide the mag base toward the curved side of the mag until the hole in the base clears the button and the mag floor plate is exposed. Put down the punch and grip the mag with your right thumb over mag floor plate that is now visible. Holding the mag floor plate and spring in place with your right thumb, slide the stock mag base to the left completely off, then slide the Pearce grip extension on the same way. Make sure to engage both edges of the mag body in the grooves in the grip extension. The mag base plate should easily slide off and on with firm steady pressure applied with your left (free) thumb. When the grip extension is all the way on you should hear a click as the button snaps into place; if you dont, the mag floor plate is tilted inside the mag and you need to slide the grip extension back open and reposition the mag floor plate properly under your right thumb before closing up the mag. Enjoy!

Well made, kinda pricey
Let me start off by saying I do not own a Glock 36. You're probably wondering why the heck I bought this then? Well, I have a Kriss Vector and it uses Glock 21 Mags. Living in a state that requires a bullet button means not only am I limited to 10 round mags, but I also can't drop said mags with my finger. I have to jam a tool into a little hole where the mag release is. So your next question is probably, why the heck are you telling me this? I'm looking for a review of this grip! My solution to my specific problem is to add a grip extension to the 10 round mag, and then add a Thordsen Customs "Ultimate Bullet Button Tool" to that. Basically a little nub that you screw into a mag or in this case, a grip extension. The size of this extension is perfect to screw the UBBT into. Alas, I didn't realize that the G36 has a cutout (like I said, I don't own one) and this extension actually rides a bit higher than the factory baseplate which means it hits the bottom of the Vector's magwell. And incidentally, if you own a G21, it makes the mag useless in your gun. It just won't fit. Though if you have a G36 with this on a G21 mag, it will work, but just look funny. Turns out there's a different grip extension for full sized guns (G21) by Pearce Grips (PG-2021). Lesson learned and at least I only bought one of these PG-30's. As for the PG-30 specifically, once you get the factory baseplate off (PITA by the way. Look at the GTUL for easy mag disassembly), this snaps on pretty easily. It doesn't wobble and had I owned a G36, I'm sure it would fit just fine. I own several other Pearce Grips mag accessories and I've never been disappointed. Unfortunately they are on the expensive side and roughly 1/3 the cost of a mag, but worth it IMO. TL;DR If you're looking to rig a bullet button tool on the mag directly for a Vector, look at the PG-2021 and the Thordsen Customs UBBT for your G21 mags.

The Spring Will Sproing!
This is an excellent product and addition to the XDs45 magazine. The extension will give you more confidence when drawing the pistol from a holster or pants pocket, as you can hook the little finger around it. Also, the lip provides a purchase point should you carry the 5-round magazine for a spare (or two, as I do), as the magazine fits low in a magazine carrier. I don't use the extension when shooting, but it does add a finishing touch to the pistol. WARNING! The magazine spring is under extreme tension. Ensure that you have your face away from the magazine base during replacement. The XDs magazine does not have a provision (as in some magazines) to capture the floor plate. You can be injured if your are not keeping constant pressure on the magazine floor plate. At the minimum, parts can go flying and if Murphy's Law is working, you may never find them. You will then have a XDs magazine repair kit on your hands, minus whatever parts that you can't find. The magazine extension is well made and fits the XDs45 magazine snugly = very snugly. Slide the magazine extension onto the magazine while holding the magazine locking plate down to allow the extension to slide over the locking pin. At this point, you can release the magazine locking plate. Continue to push the magazine onto the magazine. The magazine will click into place. Load the magazine to capacity to ensure that the magazine base is fully seated and that the magazine locking plate pin is firmly in place. A Word to the wise: Should you, as I did, lose the magazine locking plate due to components flying through the air with the greatest of ease, it will not be replaced by Springfield, as they do not offer any magazine parts with the exception of the spring. Resign yourself, as I did, to purchase a new (and whole) magazine and relegate the (now unserviceable) disassembled magazine to the "magazine repair parts' bin. I normally do a 6' drop test into a cardboard box to ensure that the magazine will not come apart when dropped on the ground. The magazine extension does not seem to interfere with concealment.

Great Modification That Provides A Perfect Grip for Large Hands
This magazine modification provides the ergonomics that should've gone into the original factory mag design. First off, packaging was very easy to open. Simply pull apart the folded plastic retail box. Installation was just as simple. All you had to do was press in the catch that keeps the original base plate in position. While keeping the spring depressed into the magazine well, simply slide the Pearce extension in place. It's just that easy. Holding the pistol with the modified magazine felt, for my extra large hands, exactly like the factory S&W 8-round magazine with the extended grip. The fit and finish was matched the pistol in color and texture. I also didn't note any initial changes in the way the pistol balanced in my hand. So, I don't expect that I'd have to relearn how to shoot with this. Of course, there are pros and cons to this extension. You will get a better feel on the grip, but you'll lose one round. With the factory 8-round magazine, the bottom part is has a loose fitting plastic part that fits around the magazine to provide the grip extension over the extra round. In my opinion, I thought this was a little lazy on the part of S&W. Furthermore, when you are shooting, you can feel this part move around a little in your hand. This can be distracting and makes you take a quick second or so to adjust your grip. Hence, Pearce's extension may put an end to this "annoyance" because the extension doesn't move and it give that little extra room for the pinky finger to get a firm grip for large hands. I'll have to go the range to test this theory. Finally, there is the chance that you might be able to conceal carry this a "little" better without the negligible size and weight difference between the 7-round vs the 8-round magazine. Again, another issue that will depend on more on personal preference.

Prodotto ottimo

Just what i needed
These are just right for smaller gun grip, they give you that extra space for your little finger, without adding extra rounds (Canadian laws)makes it look a whole lot nicer too (see my pics)fits on glocks 17 (regular ones everyone has including KelTec sub 2000 pics were taken with it on a KelTec sub)My mags were factory Glocks so i don't know if they would fit on KCI's, i dont have any of those, but it's just an insert that slides on and blocks with the pin under the mag. Hope Amazon gets more of these soon i got the 2 last ones and i need more. EDIT: Got 2 more it took a bit of time but now all my 10 rounders have that grip extension, very happy with them makes a world of difference with smaller grips. Highly recommend.
