SILBERTHAL Stainless Steel Teapot with Strainer Insert (1L) Black - Double-Walled with Thermal Function - Keeps Warm for a Long Time

A beautiful item, a bit smaller than I expected but plenty big enough for me. I bought this because I thought it looked good, it has a good non-drip pouring spout, the filter goes right down to the bottom of the pot, and your tea stays warm for quite a while. (This is important for someone like me who makes a pot of tea and then forgets to drink it. ) It ticks all the boxes. It's a handsome item and would make a great gift.

This stylish (think: Allessi) black little double walled teapot fills three big mugs. It keeps the tea lovely and hot for a good half an hour. I was also looking for a larger teapot to hold 6 mugs but sadly Silberthal do not make a bigger size (Why Not??) and I could not find large suitable one anywhere else. However, I am so delighted with this one that I bought a second one, and will just make two pots when I have visitors :-)

Excellent quality

I’m really pleased with this. It keeps my tea warm for at least an hour, probably more. The holes in the basket are really fine and hardly let any dust through from my camomile. The lid fits well and the spout pours well and doesn’t drip. I’d say to previous reviewers of a drippy lid that condensation sits on the rim inside the lid and that’s in fact what drips out so it’s a very small amount in fairness. Only negative is it doesn’t quite hold 1 litre of tea as advertised and that was important to me. Handy to note here’s a removable lip inside the rim of the teapot for ease of cleaning - it took me a while to work that one out! Generally great value for money.

Really pleased it keeps my tea nice and warm. Looks nice too. And easy to clean 😉

This is the review for the black stainless steel double walled teapot. Not sure why it appears for the glass one. In the beginning I was really happy with it - lightweight but large and could hold the tea hot for a long time allowing it to brew properly. But after a few weeks it seems like the water accumulated somehow between the walls and stays there. I cannot find a way to get it out meaning it will just be sitting there rotting and making the teapot heavier. Hence down to just 3 stars.

I initially wrote a review about how happy I was with this tea pot. It's a perfect size for me to have a number of refills, keeps the tea warmer than any others I’ve used. A few problems have now come up and I'm hoping to return it. First, the strainer had a small hole, customer service was nice and said when available they'd send a replacement, but after 3 months none has arrived. Secondly, every time I pour a little tea is spilled onto the table. Something with the spout design makes it so pouring without dribbles is impossible - and when you drink quite a few cups of tea this starts to stain whatever the tea pot is sitting on. Lastly, the black tea pot itself is now badly stained around the spout and just below the lid - which doesn't look nice. It's actually almost a rust look. Overall I'd say you'll be happy with the tea pot initially, but over time my guess is the small problems turn into headaches and you'll be looking for a new one in a few months. Probably worth looking elsewhere.

I like the look of this teapot. It’s well made, however, it’s difficult to clean and more annoyingly, it drips on pouring. Expected better design for the price. Have used it for a few weeks but given up and bought a stainless steel one to replace it. Feel I have wasted money buying this. The whole idea of a teapot is not to drip.

PS commentaires additionnels à la fin de mon premier commentaire. Jolie théière (choisi le modèle noir pour ne pas voir les traces éventuelles de doigts ou de coulures) pas trop lourde. Utilisation et nettoyage faciles. Garde parfaitement le thé au chaud pendant toute la durée du petit déjeuner. Permet un service au fur et à mesure et évite au thé de se refroidir dans un grand bol. Quantité parfaite pour un petit déjeuner pour deux. Après deux jours d’utilisation, je suis très contente de mon achat. À voir sur la durée. Dommage cependant que la théière ne soit pas fournie avec deux filtres. PS Après un mois d’utilisation, je constate que le revêtement noir extérieur, principalement sous la théière, commence à s’effacer et que l’intérieur commence à se « culotter » car difficile d’accès (on ne peut pas y mettre la main) pour le nettoyage. Cet article reste malgré tout intéressant. PS 2 : le descriptif indique « démontage facile » …. Mais n’explique pas comment démonter la théière pour enlever complètement les traces de thé à l’intérieur !!! À force de chercher, j’ai découvert que la partie supérieure en inox est effectivement démontable / déclipsable : voir sur mes photos. Après quoi, un mélange de vinaigre blanc et de bicarbonate de soude additionné d’eau très chaude, un petit temps de trempage et un coup d’éponge pour décoller les traces de thé et HOP le tour est joué !!! Ma théière est comme neuve !!! Une fois de plus, je recommande ce produit…

È proprio esteticamente bella e decisamente funzionale. Non va messa direttamente sul fuoco ma ci va messa l'acqua alla temperatura desiderata. La parte esterna della teiera non scotta mai. Per quanto riguarda il mio utilizzo anche la capienza è ottima. La ricomprerei assolutamente. Sto valutando di comprare la "sorella" in vetro. La consiglio
