Mini Thermometer Hygrometer Digital Indoor

So far so good. Handy, good price, glad I got them. It’s about ±1 degree/RH bias in measurement, which is pretty accurate. I got to monitor my plants. Love how they are so mini can be easily hidden.

Plus, they come in a three-pack, which means I can have one in the printer, one in the basement, and one in my sons room (for all those moments I wonder if my son is creating a tropical rainforest in there). The best part? They help me monitor the humidity levels in my house, and boy, does it keep me on my toes! If it gets too humid, I can adjust my dehumidifier faster than you can say “failed print.” It’s like having a mini weather station that only cares about my filament’s wellbeing. In summary, if you’re into 3D printing or just want to keep your house from feeling like a sauna, grab these hygrometers. These are great, i use them for my filament storage. the only reason they arent 5 star is that they dont read below 10% but for the price and cause i can make sure my filament is all below 20% they are great value for money

Arrived promptly….four reflect the same temperature and humidity with the remaining two marginally differing. This is my second order of these items purchased on the back of acquiring a new 3D filament printer….they provide a good indication of Humidity levels within the storage containers.

Ok so the basics: yes there are 6 of them in a pack, they are round so may roll around on a counter, you shouldnt cover the back as thats where the sensors are. Yes the reading from one to another may be slightly different but if you want exact readings from an instrument that may be 1deg out you may need to spend a few £££ more. I privately complete thermal assessments on friends and family's homes, I have a Flir (expensive thermal imaging) camera to check radiators, roofs & walls for air leaks etc. so I think i know about reading temperature enough to make a valuable comment. These are excellent as I was able to place one in each room of a flat, see which room needs more insulation compared to others, so i can concentrate on that room. I was also able to discover in a property that suffered from damp, the source location. With these I was able to narrow down the bathroom being the source and place a dehumidifier in the room to resolve the immediate issue. I would expect about 55-65% humidity in a normal room, the bathroom had 85% all the time. I would expect 85% and above after a shower. after a little investigation I found the extractor fan wasn't blowing air out, and was actually blocked! The battery on these is still going strong after 4 weeks. They are small enough that you can place them around a house for a few weeks without anyone being annoyed by their presence.

Cheap and cheerful, did what I needed them too.

I use these to monitor the moisture level around my filament and they work really nicely. I've 3d printed some frames from thingiverse to hold them in the cereal boxes I store my filament in and you can see that the one with my filament in is at 10%, while the box with no silica gel is at 36% which is only 2% off another monitor I have showing the ambient room temp and moisture. I've found them perfectly suited to projects requiring a 45mm diameter top and 41.2mm diameter body. Battery life seems good as well. The first batch I got are still running well over a year later without issue. My only gripe is that they don't seem to show any values between 10% and 20%, but then it increases in single increments after that (21%, 22%, etc).

Veramente molto utile. Lo sto usando per verificare l'umiditá delle bobine di filamento per la stampante 3D. Quindi se stai cercando un Igrometro per quella stampa per l'umiditá dell'AMS di BambuLab, questo é perfetto. Con un po' di forza entra e non uscirá mai piú. Consigliato
